Proximity to town centre.
The lack of staff at the bar, restaurant and reception

Good location. Nice people. Nice racks for hanging clothes, placing luggage, facilitating hair drying. Close to the footpath to the quay, cathedral, etc.
Since there is no A/C, the windows need to be open and it can be noisy outside from the associated pub, restaurant, street, apartments. One of the beds was bigger than the platform it was in so it sloped at the bottom.

Comfy bed, tea coffee facilities, plenty of hot water. Quiet rooms. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Excellent location and parking onsite.
The parking used to be free but I guess everything costs more nowadays!?
The room was quite warm and the window would only open so far.

Lovely old pub, good location near city centre and quay.
Sunday lunch was really good and plentiful
Room in the ‘new’ block was tiny - it was a budget double , as that was all that was left, but not much room around the bed and a small shelf with kettle hairdryer and fan, 5 hangers on a rail which had to be ducked round to avoid banging your head. No place to put suitcases or other clothes. 3 nights, no room cleaning or coffee replacement/ clean cups

"Die Lage ist sehr gut, mit kostenpflichtigem Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Das Essen im hauseigenen Pub war OK, beim Frühstück könnte noch nachgebessert werden. Alles in allem eine gute Unterkunft."
