We loved the place. We only intended on staying two notes but cancelled our other place on the island and stayed 2 more nights. Great location North of San Pedro center (15-20 min golf cart ride). The staff were helpful, friendly, had great recommendations. Having a tour company on the dock was always a huge bonus. The pool and poolside bar was also a nice friendly place. Wifi was strong and the place was completely relaxing.

the appartements are very spacious and equipped. Some are really in front of the sea and the pool is also nice, with a bar in the middle. they have an onsite service that offers snorkeling tours etc.

it’s not very close to San Pedro so you will need a taxi to get there and rent a golf cart to visit the city

They did not provide breakfast at the resort, however each unit is equipped with a small kitchen and we made rice and beans, egg and fresh fruit with Marie Sharp hot sauce every day and it was wonderful. The resort is very well taken care of, the employees are very pleasant, genuine, and helpful. It is part of a group of resorts, there is a larger resort (Coco Beach) just two resorts away with an easy walk from the beach. At Coco Beach they have a giant swimming pool with a slide and cliff jumping feature that is pretty awesome that we took advantage of as we were told it is ok to use their pool. The pool at Belizean Shores is also very nice, but the whole resort is smaller, therefore the pool is smaller. It is well maintained, the hot tub had a few issues while we were there but the staff quickly responded and the hot tub was repaired and it was nice to have the pool/hot tub with a swim up bar. There is also a tennis court/basketball court, ping pong, and bikes available for daily rent at Belizean Shores. And, the dock has an excellent dive/snorkeling adventure shop attached with one of the best outfits in the San Pedro area with kayaks available for daily use to take out into the bay and snorkel. As well, because Belizean Shores is about 3 miles north of San Pedro, it is closer to Secret Beach, and away from the hustle bustle of S.P. while also easily accessible by bike or golf cart.

I truly love the attentiveness the staff provided from remembering my name to recommendations and offering services I had no idea you offered. Like shopping and drying my clothes as a laundry service after a downpour!! Front Desk: Chelsea and Gian were my life savers. They checked on me and enjoyed providing the services after any type of inquiry. The personalities, the laughter, the professionalism... just making sure all my needs were met. Patti- swim up bar tender and I had one conversation about what was available to me .... always spoke to me using my name in passing, even though I never attended the bar because I had to see the other islands and beaches and experience excursions. She probably had no idea how good that made me feel. The excursions are literally steps away from wherever, your room was located as I was able board a boat to go to Hol Chan and the barrier reef for snorkeling and swimming with the sharks!! I know September is down time for the island, and hardly anyone was there but their personalities made it feel like Carnival. They always made sure I had access to transportation and Abner was a wonderful taxi driver. He would stop anywhere I wanted and made suggestions as well as always was on time to pick me up. I plan to return for Carnival!!!

The one thing I didn't like was everything to do with nature and not with services or facility. The seaweed was so prominent that I could never sit on the beach and just enjoy the beautiful waters. The sargassum was disgusting on some days just unbearable. The cleanup guys could not keep up. Also wished the front desk had a schedule of the excursions that left from the dock on the property. I missed the party cruise, and no other was scheduled because of the lack of takers

great staff Marvin at the pool bar made everyone feel special! the front desk greeting was very welcoming and they handled anything we needed. having Tuff E Nuff tours on site made access to activities easy and Buddha was a great snorkel guide! Even security overnight made it feel so safe!

The property is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. I would stay there again.

It would be nice to have a beach to swim in but the pool is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen.

The layout and atmosphere of the hotel was not quite what we looked for, we would have preferred a smaller intimate setting but that was rare on the island

Fantastic place! They helped you with everything and anything you needed. Room got cleaned. Grounds are very clean. Pool was spotless. Food options across the street or a short golf-cart ride away. Highly, highly recommend renting a golfcart and enjoying the area. We bought groceries and the kitchenette served us very well. Great for a family of 5!

No useable beach, everything full of rotting seaweed which they don’t clean up. Whole terrain smells disgusting because of it. The pool bar is in the main pool instead of separate, so you will always swim in pee if you use it (which I didn’t for that reason. No restaurant on site even though everything is really far away. You can order something from their sister hotel. What you get is plastic boxes, a plastic fork and cold food at the price of a fine dining restaurant. Way overpriced for what it is

The rooms are great, plenty of room. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor swim up bar. The staff was very kind and helpful!

Everything! It was so good we decided to stay an additional to take in the amenities of the property because we spent most of our days doing tours.

Great hotel. Perfect size. Had great recreational activities - tennis, bikes, chess, ping pong, basketball. Also have full use of Cocoa Beach resort next door. Can’t beat this.

The rooms are big comfortable and private. The pool area is great and the dock has a tour company on it which makes things very simple and efficient. There is no restaurant but in front of the hotel are 4 small places. I would recommend the Tipsy Lobster.

It’s far from the town and the is no convenience store nearby.
