Seacote Hotel

On the sea front and staff lovely. Food excellent.

Location, cleanliness and parking.

Could have been more vegetarian options. The five bean chilli was disappointingly small, but other meals were fine.

We stayed as a family party in 2 family rooms in the hotel. Us and our dog in one room, and daughter, son-in-law and 10 week old baby in the other. We felt very warmly welcomed, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for staff. Rooms were large, clean amd serviced each day. We liked room only rate and we were able to breakfast at nearby Bakehouse Beach Cafe which suited our vegan son-in-law better. We went there because The Association of Lighthouse Keers had the annual AGM and evening meal there on the Saturday of our stay and the hotel handled the logistics of that very well indeed. Dog very happy with the beach nit far away from doorstep.

Very little: yes it is a bit dated but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Better lighta for reading needed. A better range of choice for vegan and vegetarian diners would be appreciated. And as the family rooms are so large a small fr.idge (enough for cold water and other drinks would be appreciated. Already plan to go back

Location for starting the Coast to Coast.

Restaurant staff were a bit surly, and breakfast was such a long wait for the cooked items. Not enough fruit for guests (especially as they are going to have walkers and cyclists staying at this hotel). The ground floor room had workers parking right outside your window.
