The location was superb!! There was a bathtub/shower which you don’t always get. The linens were super soft and feathery and we slept like babies. It was so quiet at night. There’s a Coop (grocery store) downstairs and a Ladarach chocolate store. It’s right across from the train station and right next to the Gornergrat station. Sleeps four as there’s a Murphy bed in the living room. There’s also a nice big balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. Walter is delightful! He met us at the train station, gave us the rundown, and gifted us with a fruit platter, coffee and some spices to cook with. We loved staying here!

The kitchen is a bit small but for our needs it was perfect. There was construction noise all day but it was quiet at night. The insides of the cupboards were dusty.

Walter was lovely and met us at the train station. The apartment had everything we needed for the week and the location was perfect as you're next to the train station, you can buy breakfast, lunch and dinner from the coop downstairs and watch the goat parade and the matterhorn from the balcony. The apartment was excellent value for money.

If I could change one thing, I'd have an extra pillow as they were very comfortable but soft. However this is me being exceedingly picky and it didn't affect the holiday at all!!!

Lage, Ausstattung, Aussicht.

Location, location, location! It is so convenient to everything in Zermatt and the Coop is right downstairs. Walter, the host, met us at the train station and showed us around the apartment as well as giving us some tips on where to find more information. There is an information kiosk right across the street. Walter recommended a stop there and the maps and info we got there were very helpful.

There was construction right in front of the property which did get a bit noisy during the day. But since we were out and about most of the day, it didn’t really bother us.
