Interesting accommodation, in an old monastery. Charming building itself, big room, good breakfast., close to the Water Bus Alilaguna Station (two minutes on foot). Friendly staff. Few restaurants nearby, more in walking distance towards the city centre. Around 15 mins to the San Marco Square. Overall a very nice surprise.

Nothing I can think of

The location is great because it’s a walking distance (approx. 30 minutes) to the train station and even less to the city centre, but at the same time it’s not situated in a crowded touristy place. I shared the room with my friend, so it was a perfect two-person room. The vibe of the place is very student-like. The breakfast was also good, with lots of options to choose from. There was even a kitchen next to my room. The staff was very accommodating and understanding and allowed my friend to move into my room, even if we didn’t book together. They also provided first aid help when I had a slight injury on my foot.

The lights of the toilets sometimes weren’t working and the fact that there wasn’t a “do not bother” for cleaning.
