charged me their new price, not the price I’d booked for on booking.com also the bowling doesn’t work half the time, so don’t choose it just for that bit of fun.

it had everything we needed. the service was exceptional. the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and settled.

a few little issues, like one of the bedroom doors didn’t close properly and the shower didn’t drain well, but otherwise was very comfortable.

our room looked nothing like the pictures. I don’t know how this place can class itself as a “boutique hotel” - it was a run down old room which has been dressed up above a pub. the shower leaked everywhere. the room was tiny - it was literally nothing like I was expecting and an absolute waste of money considering. there appears to be a new section of the hotel located behind the pub - I suspect this is what’s depicted in all the photographs. my partner and I normally don’t complain but this was an absolute joke. false advertising at its finest.

Our ground floor room was an addition to the existing hotel. It was extremely spacious with a separate lounge and a large bathroom.

Wifi wouldn't work in our room.

Limited parking and light on bedding. But it’s cause I prefer thicker blankets.

room wasn’t very clean, not well vacuumed. smelt. glassware had greasy fingerprints. common hallway grubby.

very clean and nicely maintained. located in center of the city and very easy to get in and get out of the city from this location.
