Centro Paolo VI

The place is huge, clean and 24 hours front desk

Nothing

Kind and helpful staff. Quiet location. The gardens. Convenience of car park. Great view from our balcony.

The room was smaller than expected as was the balcony. Rooms opposite us on the 3rd floor looked larger.

Beautiful authentic building. Sensitively modernised. The breakfast area was lovely. Breakfast was plentiful and all the staff were very friendly. Can’t wait to stay again.

Nothing

Fair enough sleepover, but don't expect something fancy.

It was a good enough stay, but nothing like how it's presented in the ad on booking. It has the feel of a place that wants to be nice but doesn't quite succeed. It's a big conference building of sorts (I think), and our room was a long walk through the building. Not at all soundproof, the room was very spartan and simple, and the bathroom was not nice. The floor wasn't very clean either, although it was otherwise clean. The whole hotel is well described by the permanent hairdryer in the bathroom - which had a wrong plug and couldn't be plugged in. It's like they're trying, but it doesn't work. Also, got a schedule from the receptionist for the airport buses, which totally had the times wrong.
