The staff is always kind, courteous, attentive, and accommodating to my needs. The staff were kind and welcoming to my dog too. Thank you for your kind support. It made our stay do welcoming. The supermarket was just around the corner, and so was Starbucks and many restaurants.

The value for the stay and room size was great. Also that the breakfast was for free helped a lot. The breakfast was very oily, however. Positive note, the coffee was good and the option between espresso and drip was a pleasant surprise.

The wifi was very slow and unreliable. A business call I had to make via hotspot due to how bad the wifi was. As for the business centre, I believe it was just a couple of macs in the main lobby area. I could be wrong, I wanted to work in my room for privacy sake. I did also hear mention of a conference room, that could be good, I did not explore it.

TV - no international channel like CNN, Channelsnew Asia etc

Staff and their hospitality

Unlike many hotels in China, this hotel had an English -speaking desk attendant who immediately greeted us in English and helped us get checked in. Because we were moving, we had a lot of heavy luggage. When the hotel staff saw me struggling, they rushed to help me take my stuff to our room. The room was very spacious, modern, and clean. The bath tub was perfect for a bath. We had lots of closet space and plenty of room for all our luggage. The bed was soft and the furniture comfortable. My cat was very comfortable there too. When we checked out, the hotel staff made sure they didn’t need to call us a taxi. When our ride arrived, the hotel staff once again rushed to help us load our luggage. Excellent customer service!

Two small things to consider are the breakfast and the location. The breakfast was included with our stay, so we tried it out. I’ve had different breakfast buffets in China before, so I’d say the breakfast was above average since it included Western foods like eggs, sausage, toast, pastries, cereal, coffee, and orange juice. However, the coffee machine was down when we went to eat and the orange juice tasted very fake. Additionally, the fruit wasn’t ripe at all. As far as the location, the hotel was in a good location for us because we wanted a place in New District. However, this hotel isn’t downtown and isn’t on a subway line. But there is a bus stop within walking distance, if needed.
