Hotel Santa Maria

Location first. Close to the Plaza and everywhere else. Then the incredible staff and that delicious breakfast!

Everything! Except being on the second floor. To be fair any stairs at that altitude is awful.

The plaza de arma was around the corner from the hotel !

The location is brilliant and the front desk staff are very helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable and it was a good size room

It was cold. A heater would be great.

Location is great and the breakfast and reception staff were all pleasant and helpful.

We arrived extremely late at night and the bathroom did not have anything in it. No towels, soap, toilet paper.... nothing. I read other reviews and expected better. They had all day to prepare that room and the bare basics slipped through their own fingers. There is also no heating in the rooms. Cuzco is extremely cold at night and all room doors open out into freezing, open-aired hallways. Staff was great once they realized the bathroom mistake but do not think I would come back.
