The host was incredible, was easily contacted, gave great tips for great coffee and sweet treats and assisted us even after check out time

Perfect location, clean, nice people.

It was clean and had a beautiful view of the city. The host provided coffee and pastries every day for breakfast and there’s a fridge, microwave, etc to share. It’s very close to metro and public transportation and there is parking on site, which was great.

The elevator and in general the building are very old. A couple of times, the elevator was not working and we had to use the stairs to the 7th floor. They could use better pillows. The ones we got were completely flat and for a side-sleeper it was quite uncomfortable.

A decent budget option. Easy 20/25 min straight walk from/to Rome Termini. 7/8 min walk to nearest metro Lodi which is Line C to Colosseum. 12/15 min walk to local trendy bars/restaurants in Pigneto if staying local. Nice to have balcony for morning view & coffee. Coffee & pastries for breakfast in kitchen. Hairdryer in bathroom. Microwave & kettle but didn’t use them. Bathroom clean and decent hand held shower. Didn’t use the overhead option. Air conditioning & small fridge in room. Host was efficient. Overall the shared area of the apartment was clean and bright. Lift to apartment was small but worked as it should.

The immediate location wasn’t particularly picturesque but we didn’t spend any time locally so not a huge issue. Overhead shower-head was quite grimy which was a shame as rest of bathroom was very clean. May be an oversight. Lots of black marks on the corner walls where suitcases have been swung onto the case stand. Just made the room look a bit scruffy. Just felt a bit stuck out of town and lacked a bit of atmosphere. I have stayed in Rome before, equally as far out from the centre, but this location didn’t feel as nice for some reason. Nothing to do with the apartment but just my personal feeling.
