Kitchen layout and equipment, comfy bed good shower and access to washing machine

TV dated, dvd would not load, bbq unusable, outside area small and restrictive with high wall and poor quality, uncomfortable furniture.

Location is in the centre of town but you are not bothered by noise. The CoOp is very close which is handy and open until 11pm each night. House is bright and clean. Lots of hot water for baths. House warms up quickly. Thoughtful supply of things like tea towels, washing up liquid/sponges, dog towels.

It would have been nice to have some more throws for the sofa and maybe an additional lamp/floor lamp in the sitting room for cosy lighting. A draining board would have been helpful, and we missed having serving dishes for food from the oven to table (there was just one pyrex?). Otherwise enjoyed the cottage very much! Couldn't find the parking permit though, and couldn't find the place to get firewood? Johnsons? Oh, and no instructions what to do with glass bottles? It says no glass in the recycling bin? We weren't sure what to do with these.

the smell of damp in the basement and there was a fault with the runners on the dishwasher which made it hard to use

Clear straightforward key collection. Little homely touches in the cottage. Comfy bed. Very well equipped. Great location for the co-op when self catering. Very good location for visiting local towns and attractions: Ashburton; Totnes; Buckfast Abbey and Torquay.

Lack of local range of shops, and restaurants for the occasional evening out.

Lots of thought put into ensuring a comfortable stay. Parking permit. DogTowels bowls and treats for dogs provided. Comfortable beds, and well equipped appliances throughout. Wide variety of DVDs, board games and books. Centrally located to branch out and explore surroundings.

Nothing property excellent value for money.
