Everything about Serenity lodge is exceptional! The views, the lodge, even the eco toilet! Absolutely loved this stay! Best place to get off grid and reconnect to nature! Carly was amazing, didn't bother us, and when we did need to contact her, she answered straight away! Carly is very sweet and even surprised us with birthday cake slices for my partner! Thank you!! The bed......omg the bed was heavenly! Felt like we were sleeping on a cloud! So romantic also with the log fire. The shower.....again was absolutely amazing and hot! Loved it! The eco-friendly toilet was our first time using one, and it was super clean, didn't smell and gave us an experience of enjoying athe view with the door open haha, loved it! Location....hidden gem away from civilisation, unless you count the cows on the hill. Perfect! Stream noise smoothing, birds singing, and occasional fox we saw! We didn't get the courage to take a dip in the pond as it was rather chilly, but next time, it's definitely on our to-do list! The journey down was an adventure as well, brought me back to my youth and exploring! Definitely wear wellies/waterproof boots, which adds to the experience! Camping fire....we cooked our first stew on the camping fire, and it was delicious! Just kept adding to our experience! Stars, stars and even more stars..... Perfect for stargazing as no light pollution.... absolutely breathtaking and stunning! We didn't need to bring blankets or towels, as Carly had stocked the lodge with extras, even tea towels! Everything was thought of! Kitchen was perfect too, to cook and prepare simple/basic meals on. Loved the whistling kettle!! (Have purchased one for home!) Cute parking space with wheelbarrows to use to get your stuff to the lodge. However, the track itself to the parking space is not suitable for low cars (I went down in Renault Captur and was fine) so be mindful that your stay is part of a working farm. Serenity lodge lives up to its name!

One suggestion I would probably make, is possibly a cuddle/bug chair on the decking for cuddling under the stars.

Absolutely everything, it had everything you could need. It was perfectly tucked away. The property and surroundings were perfect.
