This place is simply paradise. Everything is beautiful and feels absolutely perfect. It’s a dream destination, with crystal-clear turquoise water, white sandy beaches, and palm trees everywhere. One of the things I particularly loved is that there’s almost no concrete. Even the paths are made of sand, which makes the whole island feel wonderfully natural and relaxed. From the very first moment, the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The service is truly exceptional. The diving and water sports team deserve special recognition. They are incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone has a fantastic experience. Diving with sharks was absolutely unforgettable, and all the equipment was perfectly maintained and prepared. The resort also offers an impressive variety of sports and activities. The gym is excellent, with great facilities and extremely helpful staff. We stayed in a Water Villa, and it was absolutely spectacular. In fact, I don't think the photos on Booking.com do these villas justice. They are beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and even more impressive in real life. There's a glass panel in the floor through which you can watch sharks swimming beneath your villa! And just outside, you're surrounded by a beautiful coral reef where you can go snorkeling whenever you like. It honestly feels a little like living inside a giant aquarium, except that everything around you is real, wild, and breathtaking. The food is delicious, with an incredible variety of dishes, and the restaurant staff are fantastic. Dinner at Sunset was a genuine five-star dining experience. Another pleasant surprise is that LTE coverage is available throughout the atoll. With an eSIM, you can stay connected to the internet practically everywhere.

The bicycles are definitely too small for anyone taller than 170 cm. Riding them is simply uncomfortable if you're relatively tall. The Wi-Fi is convenient in one respect: you only need to connect once, and it works throughout the resort. Unfortunately, the connection is extremely slow, to the point of being practically unusable. Thankfully, mobile internet via eSIM works very well. One unfortunate aspect was the behaviour of some Russian tourists. We occasionally encountered guests who behaved quite inappropriately, for example arriving at dinner visibly drunk or smoking in public areas. Their behaviour was embarrassing and unpleasant for other guests. Of course, this is not the resort's fault, but it is worth mentioning.

Everything

We were blown away by our stay. From the moment we arrived in Male, the sea plane transfer was arranged for us seemlessly and once we arrived on the island we were looked after by every person in every category of staff. Hansi our super organiser and Ihu our amazing dive master and guide get special mention but we were so well looked after by everyone in each of the restaurants especially the chefs who took the time to cater to one of our number needing gluten free - Ceylon doing so especially! The diving and snorkelling were exceptional and we were lucky enough to see some truly amazing things which will stay with us for ever - the boat was always punctual, clean and the captain and all the dive team were fantastic. The spa was stunning both visually and with how the treatments were provided. Our rooms were kept immaculate by our Nepalese housekeeper who also provided a beautiful floral welcome. The buggies transporting us around were frequent and the app worked brilliantly and we even made the security team work when we left a phone in a bar after hours and they could not have been more helpful. This was a 10/10 stay and we would like to thank everyone who made sure it was.

This is our 2nd visit and whilst some staff provided good service, the service overall had declined significantly. Accommodation is tired and doesn’t feel luxurious compared to other resorts stayed in. Drinks service round pool was almost non existent and it felt like it was an effort for them to serve. 3 yrs ago this was a totally different experience, hence why we returned.
