The apartment itself is very nice, well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. Our only real criticism is that, although it is advertised for five people, we don’t feel it is really suitable for five adults. It would be much more comfortable for four adults or perhaps a family with children. Apart from that, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend the apartment, especially because of its fantastic location. A great place to stay when visiting Catania!

We had a very enjoyable stay in Catania. The location of the apartment is excellent — everything is within easy reach, with restaurants, cafés, shops and the main sights of the city all close by. It was a great base for exploring Catania, and we really appreciated being able to walk almost everywhere

The location was excellent to be close to the fish market & city center. It’s also convenient to access the bus station and nearby public parking lot.

This apartment is on the third floor. There are 77 steps to the flat and the bedroom & bathroom are up more stairs. There is no elevator. It’s an attic unit, so there is a lot of heat being under the roof. The A/C was a single room unit to cool the whole apartment. It was not sufficient for the apartment size. Since the bedroom is a loft, there was no door to close it. You have to manually drain a bucket with the condensed water from the unit. The bathroom was old & outdated. The water heater did not work properly. There was no shower with consistent temperature. The included toiletries are hand soap and body wash only. The apartment is not sound proof. There was a lot of noise from neighbors and from the construction on the floor below. The pictures made it look like the room had a desk, but there was none.
