My friends and I were very happy with the layout, size and cleanliness of the rental. It met all of our expectations and we’d definitely choose this rental again if it were available.

We had a great weekend at this property! There was plenty of room, and the condo was in a great location! There was a super nice pool and fire pit area, and easy access to the beach. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great about the location. The property is dingy on the exterior, but nice on the inside. The floors were really dirty when we arrived. The pool had been emptied and was unusable and there was significant construction going on, which they did warn us about, but we'll after we were committed. They were kind enough to offer a discount for the pool being unavailable.

This building is undergoing some renovations so while it wasn’t ideal to have an empty pool it was an easy walk out of the back to the ocean. Location was great!

We have stayed with seashore vacations for 12-13 years and they have always been a pleasure to work with. I've been a property manager in NC for 35 years and know how hard it is to stay on top of all the moving parts. This condo has an ideal location, size, layout...BUT it is advertised to accommodate 10 guests yet you can't feed 10 people. There's not enough dinnerware, flatware, glasses, dining chairs or table room. 10 people can't sit in the LR and watch TV together...i.e. sports. The floors were filthy...our toddler's feet were black from crawling, 3 bags of food in the fridge, coffee pot had grounds and coffee in carafe, sand and hair in one bed and cockroaches!!! I understand it's hard...my major concern is that Buddy is paying staff to clean and he is not getting his money's worth. We left the condo much cleaner than we found it. I hope he can find honest people willing to do honest work...and owners willing to step up the condo to a minimal standard. We pay a lot of money to come to HHI and we would like to enjoy our familyand the island and not clean a condo. We'll be back, Buddy. The condo was nicely appointed and spacious. The location is great -first floor, corner unit, very short walk to the pool and the beach. Nice and quiet location, restaurants and shops nearby. Reasonably priced and just what we needed!

This was such a great location , having such a large family it was great that we could all walk anywhere within minutes or less ! The property was very well maintained and worked great for us space wise ! Will definitely be booking for future visits !

It was in good condition and had had some recent updates. The space was nice and served our family well. Check in was smooth and easy and all communication with the rental agency was friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be that upon arrival our unit was not very clean. That would be the one area to improve upon. We had specified a late check-in, so a much cleaner unit was expected.But overall, great experience!

This was our family’s first trip to HHI and definitely won’t be our last! Loved our stay at Ocean One! The condo was great size and fully stocked for 7 of us! The location and convenience to everything around us was perfect! Easy beach access and umbrella/chair rentals! Enjoyed their outdoor grill area almost nightly! The pool area was very nice too- just wish the pool was heated- but that didn’t stop the kids!

Our family of 8 stayed here for a few days for spring break. The condo was clean and very spacious. It’s a short walk to the beach and also within walking distance to some restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our time and hope to come back again!

Shortly, we realized it had a few problems. On the day of check in, none of the TVs worked. On the first full day (the second actual day of our stay), a person came to fix them, but he couldn't initially fix the one in the main room (which was the TV my elderly father needed to watch since he could not walk to the ocean). The maintenance guy ended up bringing a new TV in during a second trip later on the same day, but the remote didn't work and there was a line going down the center of the new TV interfering with the picture. I had to get the remote from the bedroom in order to fix the volume (it took me a while to figure it out and my dad watched the TV without really being able to hear it for a while).
On the second full day, which was actually our third day (we only stayed 3 nights), the garbage disposal quit working and a great deal of water flooded under the kitchen sink. A plumber was called to fix the disposal and it took him several hours since he said it was "really" broken.
Because I wasn't sure my elderly dad would be able to handle all of the maintenance men, someone had to stay inside with my dad and wait for all of the maintenance men (even though the agency said we didn't have to be present, I didn't want to leave my dad alone with people he didn't know coming in and out) which amounted to someone having to be inside for one full day for the TVs and one 1/2 day for the plumbing issue.
We only had two full days at the condo and those days were full of maintenance issues.
I might recommend that there be a maintenance checklist before each new renter to prevent the inconvenience. Otherwise, the condo was absolutely beautiful and perfect.

We usually stay in a house but are thinking of buying a property & wanted to see what a condo was like. It was great. We felt like we were in a house - esp with this unit because the patio area is very private & quiet. I gave only 4 stars for service b/c I left an item and they promised to retrieve it & call me and didn't.

Great location! But the condo is DIRTY!! The carpets in bedrooms are disgusting and need to be replaced!!!! Would have been a great place to stay if the condo was clean!

Great vacation!

A group of friends came to celebrate a birthday. The property was in a great location and has a great floor plan. The inside was not as clean as it should have been but other than that it was a great stay.
