Our bungalow was clean and well-equipped and a short walk from the beach, restaurants and a food market. Communication was great and check-in was easy.
Will probably rent this or a similar unit again when the weather is warmer, as it was a little on the chilly side in October.

Clean, comfortable, and colorful with the fun yellow accents. We are a family of four originally from NYC and we like cozy so the fact that the kitchen and deck are small was fine with us. The photos are a good representation which I always appreciate. Great location!

It's a perfect cottage for couple people. Restaurants, beach, bike rental shop and ferry are in close distance. The cottage was clean and the check in/out process easy.

We loved this fully stocked, super clean rental! Came stocked with some essentials, extra towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and even books to read & games to play! We loved using the outdoor shower for sandy feet and to rinse off our dog :) location was excellent and right next to the ferry, beach bars, and ocean access - thank you for a great time! We’ll be back soon :) :)

The Surfcomber (Unit 1) was everything we hoped to expect. It’s pet friendly which allowed us to bring our 3 y/o French Bulldog; spacious, clean, and private. The entrances for each unit is semi-separate (along side of each other) but the patio was ours alone with a grill, table, and outdoor shower. The walk from the ferry was very short and the distance to beach is slightly longer. We are very happy and would definitely rent again.

We were here last September and again this year. We stayed 11 nights, grilled a lot at home, really good food market in Seaview, lots of walks to neighbor communities, enjoyed sunsets, sunrises, and even a moonrise. Very close to ferry, a couple restaurants, and a small food market.
All good but I would suggest to remove the large table on the deck for a small one so we could have more open deck space.

The house was clean and provided us with all we needed. We spent most of our time at the beach. The location and the cleanliness of the house was the highlight. I have been visiting Fire Island for generations. It’s hard to find a place that is not a busy hotel or large rental. I needed some quite time alone and this was a perfect spot for me. It would also be good for a couple or small family. There are no cars on Fire Island so you have to walk everywhere or rent a bike. This place is conveniently located- close to the ferry, centrally located in Ocean Bay Park, and a two block walk to the beach. The place was clean and comfortable. It had a kitchen and outdoor grill so I enjoyed cooking while I was there. Every night I took a walk to the ferry dock to see amazing sunsets. The two busy restaurants / bars are a short walk away if you’re interested in the social scene. There is a small grocery store within walking distance as well. Most impressive was the Vacasa staff that saw to it I had everything I needed and that my stay was very enjoyable. I definitely can’t wait to visit again.

Lovely little bungalow that has been remodeled with a great location! AC is a big plus and a short walk to ferry, Schooners and Flynn's. Beach Chairs were a plus as was the out door shower. Bathroom was a bit cramped but not a big issue. would stay again.

Great Getaway for Beach Lovers

Loved this place! Everything is new and clean. There is heat for cooler nights! I stayed there for 2 weeks. The pull out couch is very comfortable easily sleeps 2 adults.

Piece of Paradise
This is the second time I have stayed on this property with my young children. The property is clean and inviting and super close to the ferry. Housekeeping had forgotten to stock something expected prior to our arrival. I called the property manager and he was there within ten minutes! This is the perfect getaway! My family loves it and we look forward to going back!

loved the cozy cottage feel, patio, and location . the communication between Vacasa ( managing company for the home ) was not good. Julianna from Vacasa tried to fix multiply problems and was very sweet , but mistakes were not acceptable

Great weekend get-a-way
Nice little spot for a short get away. Spent the weekend with friends and it was a good location, close to beach, town and just a short walk to Ocean Beach. I would recommend to another small group wanted an affordable get a way spot.

Would definitely stay again
The property management team was super responsive. Patrick and the crew were great. Always minutes away when we needed anything. Property is charming. Right off the ferry. 15 minute walk to ocean beach. Bikes not in good condition but theres a bike shop around the corner for easy rentals. Property had beach chairs, wagon, and umbrella which was a plus. Kitchen was small but fully functional so it was perfect for us. Would definitely rent this unit again.

Great week - cottage was as advertised.
Very clean. Good use of space. Great pull out sofa for kids. 3 min walk to beach. Bed in main bedroom is full sized, but comfy. Air conditioning was amazing add-on to this cottage. 1 mile walk to Ocean Beach. Only ask is that it could use a couple of new bikes, but would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Great location, great apartment. Nice sofa bed, grill and had A/C now.
Negatives: the cabinet under the sink has a foul odor, flat wear and cups were not clean, and the bed sheets were covered in Dog Dander (we covered the sheets ourselves).

The best get away
Staying at this Vacasa Champlain bed and breakfast was the perfect get away. The description didn't boast enough as to how spacious and clean the leave was. How delightful that everything was in walking distance. Need I say more. An awesome place to get away.

The place is super cute and clean. It is perfect for a family of 4 or friends. However on a hot day the room could be unbearable. A small AC unit is needed.
