Was everything perfect

Always a great pleasure staying here! Very spacious, comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. Nothing I can fault about this property.

We had an apartment on the ground floor. The apartment is lovely: clean, comfortable, quiet and in a great location. The owners were helpful in allowing us to check in early and meeting us to hand over two sets of keys.

HOWEVER - and this is a deal breaker - the shower is small and problematic. The size in itself is not an issue, but there is a large and prominent mixer tap sticking way, way out from the wall into the shower space. Additionally you have to pull the lever further out into the shower space to turn the water on. It is impossible not to knock the lever and either turn the water off or making it scalding or freezing. I was alternatingly burnt and frozen, even after using the shower for a week. I suspect the owners have never showered here. Had I been aware of this I of this I would not have stayed here. Indeed, I would not be prepared to stay here again unless the owners rectify the shower, and if you are to plan to stay I would suggest you ask if the shower issue has been rectified. If the owners improved the shower plumbing I would change my rating from 2 to 4 stars.
