Childers Gateway Motor Inn

This place is great. One of the cleanist motels we have ever stayed in. Carpets, bathroom, bedding, we couldn't fault a thing. Guests kitchen and laundry on site and free to use supplying crockery and cutlery etc. It was very well equipped and everything was spotless. There was even a wine/beer/spirits machine where you could purchase items. Shaving cream, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser all supplied in bathroom. The towells were soft and fluffy and the bed extremely comfortable. The rooms are a very generous size as well. Staff very friendly and helpful. We would stay again and other motels could take a leaf from this ones book on how to do things properly.

We found a little bit of traffic noise early in the morning, however not much can be done about that due to central location in the town. The place makes up for it in other ways. It never worried us too much as we were up early and on the road.

We needed a late check in, the staff were great! They had the heat & lights on ready for us.

We were allocated the room for my partner in a wheelchair. The lady who organised this was so lovely. We really appreciated her thoughtfulness. The bathroom is disability friendly. The bed was super comfy. We felt at home. Definitely will be back.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Friendly staff, easy access, single storey with nil stairs, good sized room.
