Beds not great

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was great and location was ideal. The only minor issue was that there was ants all over the floor but I understand this cant always be helped, what with heat etc.
It was all great, though the breakfast buffet wasn’t the best.

Location was great. It is right next to the historical area of Catania (5-10 minute walk), while just far enough away that noise was not an issue. It is also just across the road from the bus stop for the Alibus (airport bus) which is by far the cheapest and most convenient way of getting to and from the airport. Simona was very helpful at pointing me toward the main tourist sites and I really appreciated being able to store my luggage after checking out, and being able to use the bathroom before heading to the airport for an evening flight.
The view from the room was nothing to write home about, but I appreciate that you can't have it all. Everything else about the room was great (spacious, clean and well equipped)
