The room was large and modern. The hotel is very close to restaurants and bars in the area.

The noise from the bar (there was a band) was very loud in our room.

Bad breakfast and wait staff. We stayed in one of the older rooms that had no windows that opened only a small window in the bathroom oh, it was very stuffy and hot. The restaurant had a pretty weak selection Pizza hamburgers and chicken wings really are you kidding me

Great place with nice view over the ocean. Nice pool and good Indian restaurant. In the middle of the jungle it seemed, with birds, monkeys and other wildlife around. Close to other restaurants.

The room was very nice (I got an upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise). It was very comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. I loved seeing the cheeky capuchins monkeys playing in the trees. I got an omelette for breakfast and it was delicious.

The only good thing about Byblos was the nice staff running it. ( Especially Melissa) And it is located in the middle of rainforest so there were a lots of wildlife which is beautiful.

The cleanliness, it is very dirty, very abandoned and they have no established sanitary measures. We stayed At Byblos 3 nights, we never got room service for cleaning.( no change the towels as well, they said it was because of Covid.) The room air conditioning smelled mouldy The pool is very dirty. Water level is very lower than it should be and a lot of dirts on the top and in the bottom. Definitely highly overpriced for current condition!

Nice staff, gave us un upgrade because of the Pool not being open, we’re really helpful when booking tours. Room was great.

Steps too high down and up to pool area. Why can’t we get cereal for breakfast. No bottle water in room. Poor quality toilet paper. No cushions for the veranda chairs. No extractor in bathroom. Shower nice but watch the slippery floor, rain fall showers are good but ladies prefer adjustable, they do not always want to get there hair wet. Electric sub station on boundary near pool fires up occasionally and it’s very noisy it is noisy around the pool also from the extractor for the kitchen. there because the pool is not at the correct level the circulation water jets are splashing out into the pool which might sound nice but it does make it very noisy heavy lorries struggling up the hill outside on the main road dose not help, not a peaceful relaxing environment I was expecting. We needed to check out at 7.00am asked if we could get a packed breakfast as the restaurant would not be open in time. Yes no problem, was it available for us to pick up,No.

The location was great. The staff, especially Alex was very helpful. The resturant served a great breakfast. Avitar made sure the food was well prepared and served in a timely manner. He was also a great source for local information.

Everyone was amazing!! I have made some forever friends with staff and will definitely being staying here for years to come!!! We saw so much wildlife at this resort!! No need to go to the park, it was all at the resort!!

Nice hotel with really friendly staff who let us keep our bags in the office as we were checking out late. You'll see loads of monkeys hanging around! Rooms are clean and reasonably sized with nice balconies.

Not really a complaint per say, more a word of warning for Byblos (and hotels in Manuel Antonio in general) which is the location. The vast majority of the hotels are not on the beach/ national park area, but rather up the hill. If you are not renting a car, you can either walk (fine going down, not so fine coming up), take the bus (cheap but very infrequent) or take a taxi (a rip off in my opinion, 4000 CRC Vs 320 on the bus)...

Very old fashion and the pool seen dirty. Regular food. in general the installations not seemed cared. Very high cost considering what is offered.
