This was our second stay at Blackwood and we were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. The manager and the staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and the food is very good too and the breakfast generous. The view is beautiful. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff and an amazing view we really enjoyed our stay as a family. The rooms are comfortable they provided fans for us as it was a little hot when we arrived. We drove across Horton Plains to the hotel lovely drive and lovely view from room balcony and nice and cool in the evening. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to assist us with anything. The food is good honest home cooked and very tasty.
