Hyatt Regency Istanbul Atakoy

The property had everything you needed for a short day. It was lovely and clean and the breakfast was exceptional.

The location was a long way, and the taxes are so expensive, and some of them overcharge you just for the sake of it, but they rip us off with a taxi fare’s. it’s a shame that they didn’t have like some hotels. They drop you off into the centre of Istanbul and pick you up.

SPA facilities, pool, outdoor area, breakfast, quiet area around the hotel.

Nothing.

Room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Pool area lovely. Quiet neighbourhood.

Just no wow really. Some upgrading work going on.

The breakfast was very good with a generous selection, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Gözde at the reception, who always welcomed us with a smile and was quick to help whenever we needed assistance. She made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights while working at an exhibition. The workdays were long, and we spent very little time at the hotel, so the evenings were the main reason we chose this property. We had planned to host business partners from different countries at the hotel's VUE Lounge & Bar, which was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. Unfortunately, we were only informed upon arrival that the rooftop restaurant was closed for renovation and that the hotel had stopped serving alcoholic beverages just a few days before our stay. These were significant changes that should have been communicated to guests in advance. Instead, we had to travel elsewhere every evening after long working days, which was both inconvenient and time-consuming. Had we known about these changes before our trip, we would have chosen a different hotel. The lack of communication had a significant impact on our business stay and the overall experience.
