Ornum House

Countryside house. Sheep in the pasture across the street. Very quiet.

The property is in Beauly, some distance from Inverness. For those with a car, that is not an issue.

Fabulous breakfast. It's the only time at a B&B or hotel that my fried egg was cooked perfectly. Well done but not overcooked. Everything was hot. Loved that some of the fruit and preserves were home grown/made.

Bed was a little hard for me plus I would have liked a three-quarter. instead of single but that's being over picky

It started with a very warm welcome of Fiona. She is always helpful. The room was well-maintained and clean. Every day I had a fresh self-made piece of cake and fresh milk in the fridge. The surrounding area is lovely and it's nice for a walk or a run. You feel directly relaxed and welcome. The breakfast was more than expected. Everything is made with love. Self- made marmelade, bread, the choice of breakfeast fresh fruits out of the garden and many more. During the day you can always do a tea or coffee. In the garden are possibilities to have a seat and enjoy the wonderful surrounding. Thank you very much for this lovely stay and I would like to come again :-)

The location was lovely and the room and house, very clean. Good parking.

The bed wasn’t super comfortable - felt a spring or two.
