The view is absolutely exceptional and the apartment itself was nice.

Although the view was unquestionably beautiful the price did not reflect the apartment/facilities/experience. From the very start I uploaded the documents as requested and was told I would be sent details for check in. These were not sent to me and when I requested them I was told I was get a FaceTime call with directions once we arrived. We received the second set of directions for the car once we had arrived. This was ridiculous considering they know the normal maps will not bring you up the correct route for cars. Insisted on calling us and seeing everyone on video which was so strange. Texting me to confirm that there were four people in the video. All the sun loungers by the pool were broken. Most of the tiles by the pool had fallen off the walls and were stacked in a corner. Somethings like marks all along the walls, bedding not matching the images, no water in the fridge when we arrived, blinds broken etc. Something we would have overlooked if it hadn’t been for the price.

Íbúðin sjálf var fín, snyrtileg og hrein og útsýnið yfir Lake Como er alveg stórkostlegt. Bílastæðið var einnig mjög þægilegt og almennt leið okkur vel í íbúðinni.

Það voru þó nokkur atriði sem drógu upplifunina niður. Sólbekkirnir voru orðnir mjög slitnir og í raun ónýtir. Við sáum í eldri umsögnum að aðrir gestir höfðu þegar bent á þetta, svo það kom okkur á óvart að ekki væri búið að skipta þeim út. Við óskuðum eftir nýjum sólbekkjum en þeir voru ekki komnir þegar við yfirgáfum íbúðina. Einnig fannst okkur eitt handklæði á mann of lítið fyrir margra daga dvöl. Við óskuðum eftir aukahandklæðum, bæði fyrir sólbekkina og til almennrar notkunar. Við fengum handklæði til að nota við sólbekkina en ekki aukasett fyrir íbúðina. Okkur var sagt að þetta væri ekki hótel og því væru fleiri handklæði ekki í boði. Það er þvottavél í íbúðinni, sem hefði getað leyst þetta að einhverju leyti, en hún vindur þvottinn ekki almennilega og því er hún ekki sérlega hentug. Loftkælingin á neðri hæðinni mætti einnig vera mun betri. Hún virkar að einhverju marki en nær ekki að kæla rýmið nægilega vel. Samskiptin við gestgjafann voru almennt í lagi. Í heildina er þetta falleg, hrein og vel staðsett íbúð með frábæru útsýni. Með nokkrum einföldum úrbótum — nýjum sólbekkjum, fleiri handklæðum, betri þvottavél og lagfæringu á loftkælingunni — gæti upplifunin verið töluvert betri.

The view is breathtaking. It's quiet and stylishly decorated. The apartment and the beds were comfortable. The host was a good communicator when we had a problem, but directions for air conditioning, drying rack operations would've made our stay easier.

There was no wine opener when we arrived. There were only 3 towels for 3 of us for 3 nights with no towels for the pool. The pool was not heated and the chaise can use some upgrading. In order to stay here you MUST go down or up part of the steepy road. Not gonna lie...it was terrifying. The driveway down to the gate was too steep for my 82 year old mom so we opened the gate and drove in to drop her off and pick her up.

The view was beautiful

No car wants to take you back to your home or drop you off there. We almost had to walk up with luggage because our car we hired didn’t want to drive up there. If you don’t have a car it’s a trail of tears back to the house and it’s not really discussed in other reviews. The host was nice to begin with, but then when we stayed at the house turned a bit cold. They left prosecco in the fridge for us, no notes about charging for it, then there was an awkward exchange about how we should have cash to pay for it. If it’s not free - tell us. They also were not very helpful and actually made us feel stupid at one point about transportation. It was my brother’s honeymoon and I didn’t think it was very nice.
