The location of this small hotel in Unawatuna is super, away enough from the main strip to make it relaxed but not too far that access to the strip is an issue. The beach is across the road.

Nothing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Czysto a to nie zawsze na Sri Lance. Smacznie śniadania i knajpa za murem. Super basenik. Relax w tajskim stylu.

We had a great deal for our stay, and had a room upgrade (triple room with balcony), but the hotel was amazing, especially being the last on our trip. Especially compared with the other types of places we stayed on the trip (smaller hotels, homestays), this was such a comfortable and beautiful room! Clean, AC, good Wi-Fi, amazing “outdoor” bathroom, relaxing pool, and good location next to the beach. I can’t comment on the regular breakfast, but we were leaving for the airport at 05:30 and the staff prepared us an early breakfast, we felt welcomed and well taken care of.

Oh my God! We have seen many great reviews from this hotel before i booked it and YES, it is a great place to stay when you are in Unawatuna. a short walk from the beach in a quiet place, and we were extremly lucky because we were the only guest in the hotel. We loved every morning to wake up for bird songs and the bonus was to enjoy breakfast when a monkey family come to the trees and they waiting for their bananas. amazing. The stuff was super helpful, breakfast was excellent

i wouldnt say that i didnt like but this is the only COLDish pool in Sri Lanka (haha) as it is rather in a shady area, so no chance to warm up really but was still really nice to swim in it.

Beautiful garden with pool. Cozy rooms, comfortable beds with mosquito nets. Beautiful big and cozy bathroom. Very nice and helpful staff. There is a grocery store nearby as well as a liquor store.

Several electrical outlets were not working.

Stunning garden, lovely shaded pool and gorgeous design.

Fine/ net curtains as well as black out curtains would have been a nice touch as it would have allowed light to come into the room but still allow for privacy.

First of all, in reality AURORA is much more beautiful than on the pictures! Rooms are very spacious and cozy, bathrooms on the floor amazing, balconies with the view on the green plants - just wow! AC perfectly working. Hot water with great pressure. Breakfasts were tasty, with fruits, toasts, fried eggs, fresh juice. Swimming pool - really nice. And of course AURORA Team - so nice, helpful and always smiling :) Our little son Theo loved them so much!
