Haveli Kalwara - A Heritage Hotel

A beautiful place in the heart of the city center of Jaipur with a lot of historical details. Very nice place, clean en well-designed rooms. There’s a good restaurant located on top of the building (Dagla). Very friendly hosts.

It wasn’t as quiet as we expected it to be.

We loved that it felt like a piece of history still preserved and the opportunity to soak in all of that despite the hustle bustle of the marketplace outside. The host was exceptionally good and helpful, down to sorting out a dentist appointment and booking us transport to the airport! The rooms were large and comfortable, there's a restaurant upstairs that opens in the evening so it's very convenient for dinner. It's located in the heart of Old City which makes sightseeing and bazaar hopping really easy.

Nothing major but some of our party aren't Indian so only Indian food as breakfast made it difficult for them to have a hearty breakfast. Perhaps the hosts may consider asking guests from abroad what sort of breakfast they'd prefer the day before so it can be sorted. They did provide us with boiled eggs when asked though. The staircase to the breakfast room was a bit steep for a relative who had a health issue but other than that all good.

Fabulous rooms, excellent food and the location is super , right in the heart of the city
