Sogndalstrand Kulturhotell

This is an amazing place, it's like staying in part of Norwegian History. The staff are wonderful and from arrival you are treated with so much care. The rooms are in different buildings along the old main street, all are in renovated and restored fisherman's houses. They are beautifully appointed and the owners have retained many of the original fixtures and fittings - quite remarkable. The bed in our room was large and comfortable and the view from the window (which you could open) was directly over the river. All spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves good food in the evening and breakfast was good. A short walk takes you to the pretty harbour and a stroll further north brings you to a beautiful headland with an outstanding view out to the sea.

Ein besonderes Hotel mit Zimmern verteilt über mehrere Gebäude im absolut ruhigen Zentrum des Ortes. Gutes Restaurant für Frühstück (inklusive) und Abendessen mit für Norwegen angemessenen Preisen. Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig, einwandfrei sauber und die Ausstattung perfekt für eine ruhige Nacht.

Die Distanz zum nächsten Parkplatz können ein paar Schritte sein (3 min). Keine Landeinfrastruktur für E-Autos unmittelbar vor Ort.

Hun som tok oss imot var veldig imøtekommende og hyggelig. Sjarmerende rom og flott beliggenhet med laksen sprettende utenfor vinduet.

Dyr og lite velsmakende mat. Terningkast 2 Lite imøtekommende servitør ved middagen.
