Pansion Lavanda Lopar

We had a 2-bedroom apartment, even though we were just 2 people - we simply wanted the extra space. By far the main advantage of this flat was the terrace and kitchen (and also the 'front' bedroom) with their magnificent view. We enjoyed it during the day, the evenings and in the night. The Livacina beach below (a 7-minute walk) was wonderful (practically empty because it was Oct. and end of the season) and great for swimming. Fortunately a beach bistro was still open (run by the same family as Pansion Lavanda) and we often ate there. Loads of great coastal walks nearby.

The flat was well-designed but impersonal, just bare white walls. A few pictures would have brightened it up. The kitchen was poorly equipped, lacking a few essentials e.g. spatula for cooking, scissors, corkscrew, plug for the sink. Some were provided when we asked, others weren't. The food in the downstairs restaurant was no great shakes, so if we ate out, it was in the beach bistro (strange, run by the same people). The bed in the back bedroom was a disaster, the wooden slats under the mattress kept falling out, so the mattress started sagging. The frame really needs to be replaced. We complained, they provisionally rearranged the slats but the problem remained.

Great value for money! They gave us free room upgrade, with great sea view, spacious bathroom and small but clean kitchen.

WiFi wasn’t working the best in the room

Budući da smo kolegica i ja došle na Arba trail, nismo puno boravile u objektu. Nismo doručkovale a ni večerale u Lavandi, no, soba je bila opremljena kuhinjom i hladnjakom tako da smo mogle čuvati hranu, napraviti kavu i sl. Osoblje je ljubazno i nenametljivo.

TV nikako nismo mogle prebaciti na naš program, uglavnom su kanali bili svi na njemačkom jeziku.

Every thing was good apart from the flat that I was in had no WFI, that is my only complaint apart from that it was a great place to stay
