It is located only 4.5 kilometres (2-3 miles) to Shannon so a great place to stay when arriving or departing. There are good restaurants right down the road. It is spotlessly cleans, beds are comfortable and the host - Lorraine - is just lovely and helpful.
The ONLY thing I would change is having unscented linens on the bed. I have allergies to scents but just put a towel over the edge of the sheet and slept.

The warm welcome received on a late arrival, continuing throughout my stay, and all facilities 'up to scratch' for an overnight stay
A separate comfy lounge (but likely not feasible) and coffee/ tea making facilities in the room

We loved our stay at Bunratty Haven. Loraine was friendly and very accommodating. We dropped off our luggage late morning so we can drive out to see the Cliffs of Moher. When we got back to the B&B, our suitcases were all brought upstairs to our room! We greatly appreciated the extra service. Our breakfast options were great and the selections were delicious.
Nothing!
