Veriu Randwick

The room was quiet, a bit old-fashioned but very clean and very comfortable. It also had a great balcony and a view across Randwick.

I paid extra for a parking space but the space allotted to me was way too tight, and I only had a small rented car. It was difficult to back into because it was against a wall and if I had been carrying a passenger, they would not have been able to get out. The parking space was the only negative, so if you need to book a parking space, check beforehand where it will be located.

The parking facilities was very tight and my Bentley is not a huge car. The ramps are ridiculously tight to navigate and width of the car spaces doesn't leave room to walk between cars

The location was perfect for bus and light rail, plus places to eat and shop. The bed was comfortable.

My room was not very clean, therefore it was uncomfortable. The carpets were dirty (I was not comfortable walking barefoot), the couch also seemed dirty (I put the spare blanket over it for the week). The photos show hardwood/laminate not carpet so that was unexpected. The fire alarm went off at 2 am on the first night after traveling 30 hours - not fun. Every night thereafter a grown man in the room next to mine yelled and outbursted for sometimes hours on end in the middle of the night, most commonly around 2 am to 4 am. I did complain about this and recieved apologies but apparantly my room was near a permanant resident so Veriu could not really take matters into their own hands. I'm dissapointed I never got a good night's rest as a result of this. After a few nights I was offered a new room but as you can imagine, moving mid-stay is also quite inconvenient. Maybe I should have.
