Its right on the beach and you can see the sunset from the villa. Friendly staff, nice place!
Needs alot of maintenance, one of the room was leaking when we get there and the AC didn’t really work but at the end they got it fixed. The rooms upstairs have access to see our private pool and from the street as well so it didn’t really feel like a private pool but it was okay!

Bed was huge and comfortable. Open air bathroom was beautiful. Great location and views.
Pool was in desperate need of a clean, other spa facilities were still closed due to covid although other spa facilities on the island were open. Restaurant was more expensive than the fancy hotel next door with a cinema. Pool bar wasn't open and was dirty and being used as a storage area. Our room wasn't cleaned and the water was never refreshed

The staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and looked out to the beach. The place is on a nice quiet section of the island, but there are still plenty of food and drink options along this section of beach.
We assumed a private villa would be private, but directly above your garden space were the balconies of 2 smaller rooms. When the occupants were home and talking it was almost as if you had them in your own garden.

this property is maybe past it’s peak, but it is still a phenomenal place to stay. if you’re looking for pristine, you’re dreaming. This small tropical island is isolated and it would be very hard to keep everything pristine. However, it offers superb accommodation in a beautiful space and my friend and I enjoyed every minute at Mala Garden.

The staff were the best, great hospitality and genuinely friendly people.
The swim up salt water pool was also fabulous. Close to shops, ATM, bikes and truly a blissful place to be.
The bathroom needed some TLC as the tank lid was broken and the exterior walls had water damage.
Lots of ants in various places including outside bathroom area.

no one at reception, bed was uncomfortable, no water provided, private plunge pool and shared pool were very dirty, safe deposit box was broken, no breakfast.

The staff here made our trip, my 2 young boys had a blast playing and talking to them at the bar on the beach. Having breakfast on the beach was amazing such a beautiful beach clear waters with white sand. Sunsets were lovely to watch. Horses out front in the late arvo if youd like a ride. The snorkelling out front with turtles and lots of fish not a far swim and at low tide u can explore and find star fish among other things. This place has been the highlight of our month long trip to Bali and the surrounding areas.

Well, the hotel must have better times few years back. It's petty run down now. Some examples:
- reception not staffed most of the time
- premises not maintained well
- staff not responsive
- food overpriced and quality wise way below average
- aircon in one bedroom not cooling well. Was not fixed
- power outage from 2am to 6am
etc...

The staff was amazing and I love them all so much! super friendly and helpful during our whole stay.
The pool was great, and location was good to watch sunsets
The pool needed more cleaning, and the spa was not up and running while we were there.
Location was abit far from the centre but we hired bikes which make it easier to get around

I stayed at Mala Garden for two days. Loved the location, the serenity, access to the beach, and view of the sunset from the property. Even the staff is super helpful, warm and friendly.
The pool was dirty. People jump into the pool after bathing in the sea, so the water is brackish, salty and dirty. Pool needs cleaning. Also, this western side of Gili T is not good if you're looking to party in Gili T.

The Villa was dirty, there's rat droppings on the floor and on the top of the lamps.
The swimming pool also dirty.

Location is far away from the central but easy to reach because the resort is right in front of the beach. Staff was really really helpfull and friendly. Room was clean, AC and waterheater work well.
