The cute little puppy who begged and made me feel guilty I didn’t have dog treats for him.

The location is close to the town yet far enough to enjoy tranquillity and peace. Having animals close by was nice, especially if you were travelling with kids. Rooms were clean and spacious. All in all, it is good accommodation and it is recommended.

Maybe expanding the breakfast variety would help. But everything was good.

We had a wonderful stay at La Quercia l'Asina during our May trip to Sicily. The accommodations were thoughtfully designed and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. As someone who values a good night's sleep while traveling, I can honestly say the beds were among the most comfortable we've experienced, allowing for truly restful nights. The grounds were beautiful and inviting, allowing us to enjoy the pleasant spring weather. Breakfast was served each morning and featured fresh eggs, fruit, yogurt, and a variety of locally sourced pastries and rolls. We especially enjoyed dining outdoors, although there was also a comfortable indoor dining area available. While the onsite pool was under construction during our stay and unavailable for use, it was easy to see that it will be a fantastic place to relax during the warmer summer months. The location was ideal for exploring the region, with Villa Romana del Casale, Piazza Armerina and Agrigento nearby and easy access to other destinations throughout Sicily. The property itself added to the authentic countryside experience, with chickens, sheep, goats, a donkey on site. We were also delighted by Lucky, the friendly Australian Shepherd, who became a welcome companion during our stay and helped fill the void of being away from our own dogs. What truly made our stay exceptional was the hospitality of Salvatore. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience, offering excellent restaurant recommendations, suggesting nearby attractions, and even escorting us into town to help communicate with the local Commune regarding a parking ticket we received during our stay. His kindness, local knowledge, and willingness to assist made a lasting impression on us. La Quercia l'Asina provided the perfect combination of comfort, authentic Sicilian charm, and outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
