Housed in an old bank the hotel is full of character and interesting artefacts. Whilst no AC in communal areas the AC in bedrooms was excellent. Comfortable bed and lovely tea tray lovely traditional coffee shop next door to the hotel where you can get a discounted breakfast. 2 mins walk from Concubine street and great location for exploring the heritage district.
The property has lots of stairs so would not be suitable for anybody with any mobility issues.

The location was very good and close to the train station as well as many interesting places to walk and explore . The staff were very friendly
The reception area was not looking that great with paint peeling off but the rooms were good

Beautiful, historical room/hotel. Attentive staff, great location in old town.

Bathroom renovation was good
We had the twin room at top of building, asked for a room with natural light which was agreed and got none. Creature maybe cat in roof cavity all night jumping and scratching so we got no sleep. No sound proofing from busy road either. Seems like no one else was there but it was made clear changing rooms was going to be a problem. Other rooms might be better but overall pretty disappointing
