Raywyn the owner was very friendly and helpful.The swimming was great. The resident dogs..yuppy,galahad and brown dog were lovely and never left our side when we went walking along the beach.The apartment was very clean and had everything.

Absolutely perfect location! You could not ask for a better view to wake up to everyday! The beach unit was perfect for our family of 6! The rooms were all of good size, two separate bathrooms and an updated kitchen/eating space. Even though there was no AC, there were fans in every room that made things comfortable! Not only was there a porch outside the unit with a fantastic grill that we utilized multiple times, but there is another large deck attached to the upstairs master bedroom that was perfect to watch the sunsets!
There are lounge chairs, kayaks, reef shoes, snorkels, and more for you to borrow. Great swimming spot just 50 meters down the beach.
Our kids (and adults) loved Raewyn’s dogs! They made you feel at home everyday. Raewyn, the host, is fantastic!! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!! Can’t say enough!! Raewyn and her son work very hard to keep the property clean and tidy everyday, which is just an added bonus. Would definitely recommend Vaiakura Holiday Homes. We are already trying to plan our next visit!

Beautiful location, nice and private, had our own slice of paradise to ourselves. Fabulous for big families, had our own space upstairs with the ensuites. Raewyn was the best hostess made us feel at home. Definitely will return

The location is superb, right on the beach and with all the facilities you need. Raewyn and Rheet are amazing hosts! We loved our stay and would highly recommend this property

Everything. The host was so lovely and helpful. The location being right on the beach was fantastic with the choice to either lie on the beach on the sun loungers or hangout on the large deck made our stay so relaxing. Having the dogs around made it feel so at home for us. We didn't want to leave!

Amazing beautiful location, clean and close to amenities. Just a short stroll down the beach to go to 2 of the best restaurant/bars. Castaway and waterline. The kayaks were a hit with the kids and the local dogs too made a nice homely touch. The host Raewyn was lovely and very helpful 😀

Everything. The location, experience, staff, animals. The location is close to the airport and there are eateries and a petrol station close by. Raewyn was great and super helpful, even gave us a lift to the airport. Accommodation was clean and tidy and our room was a few steps from the beach. You have access to the kayaks and other little goodies for the beach. The loungers are great and one of the doggos will even hope on one with you, as well as the kayak. The two dogs she has are great and even the wee stray that was hanging around at times was lovely. The animals definitely added so much more awesomeness to the experience. I will definitely be going back to this location when I'm in Raro next.

Everything was great. Raewyn the host was so friendly and helpful, the house was great, beach and lagoon beautiful with good snorkelling out near the reef. The dogs were adorable and it was great for the kids to be able to play on the beach and in the water while the adults enjoyed cocktails on the deck. Air conditioning would have made it 100% perfect.

Perfect beachfront location. Our host met us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know about our accommodation and the area we stayed in. The accommodation was clean and beautifully arranged.
Vaiakura is an island paradise and a home away from home.

The fact it was right on the waters edge. It was comfortable for four adults. There was plenty of space inside and it had everything you wanted regards the kitchen.
The property is around 15 minutes from Avarua, so nice and central.
There is an excellent swimming hole just 50 meters along the beach.
Raewyn was is an excellent host.
We would not hesitate in returning to this property.

All the family had a great stay at magical Vaiakura! Raewyn (the host) is so thoughtful, helpful, attentive and a fountain of knowledge. She has created a paradise getaway on her piece of Rarotonga. Facilities were all first class and the reality is way better than the photos. Really felt like our dream island homestay complete with Yuppy and Galahad - the friendly homely dogs that accompanied us on our beach walks between their swims far out to try always unsuccessfully to catch fish. Recommend you hire a car to get around and in our opinion this side of the island beats Muri for sunsets and less windy beaches. Enjoy!

Amazing views, access to beach, swimming and snorkeling. Accommodation was awesome for our family. Very well appointed large family home with great facilities. Host is great, store near by. Absolutely awesome place to relax.
Hope we have a chance to visit this amazing location again.

Loved the house it was perfect for our family and friends to stay in while in Rarotonga. There was plenty of space with everything thing you could need available. The beach straight in front of the house was awesome for our kids to enjoy especially with there new best friends the resident pets Galahad & Yuppie. Loved having these 2 dogs to explore with our kids and even come for a ride on the kayaks. Raewyn is a very lovely host whom was nothing but helpful with anything we possibly needed including jumper leads when we left the light on in our rental car. Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back again.
