The view from the balcony.and dining room is amazing and so nice to chill after a long day of hiking. The guesthouse is very central and only 2mins walk to the centre of town. A very delicious spread of breakfast is provided and the dishes changes daily. Most importantly, the hostess, Thea, is one of the nicest people I have met in Georgia. She organized day trips at really good prices, helped us with laundry and even pack lunches for us. She took such good care of us and made our trip to Svanetti very special.

Our 3 night stay was wonderful as the owner, Tea, goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed. The rooms are simple yet spacious and comfortable and the shower was hot. Breakfast is served in the enclosed glass dining area that gas great views of the mountains and it is a meal not to be missed. The food is delicious and there's plenty of it. Tea is incredibly helpful on what to do and see, we were given fresh fruit and baked goods during our stay and we really appreciated Tea doing our laundry for us. This is a family run guesthouse and a great place to stay in Mestia.

As everyone wrote, the host is incredibly welcoming and kind, we could not have asked for a nicer welcome in the region! The room was small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The lunch was very nice.

The private bathroom is alright, it is a little jarring for the shower to be unseparated from the rest of the small bathroom but we managed just fine.

Our stay at Data Guesthouse turned out to be the best out of our 16 days trip in Georgia. On the day we arrived, we already felt at home as the host Tea welcomed us at the gate with her big lovely smile. The cottage was cute and cosy, the breakfast room had a very nice open view, the breakfast was abundant, her homemade fig jam and Kubdari were so yummy. On Tea’s recommendation and with her assistance, we managed to visit the Koruldi Lakes which turned out to be the highlight of our entire trip. We were offered cakes when we returned after a day out tired and hungry. Tea was very thoughtful and caring, and did everything out of her kindness and generosity. On the day we left for Tbilisi, she prepared us a big lunch pack for our 8 hours Marshrutka journey. Our stay was perfect. We felt a real connection with her and her family. They were all kind-hearted, genuine and hard working people. We wished them all the best.
