It’s just Minutes to drive from Samara beach , has a beautiful secret beach that is about a 20 minute walk through the jungle with only a handful of people at sunset , swimming at 11 pm , well equipped kitchen , outdoor shower, swimming pool and staff.

Tres bel emplacements

This is a beautiful jungle location with quiet nights awoken only by the howler monkeys overhead in the morning. The kitchen is outfitted sufficiently for meal prep and the local supermarket is well stocked. The staff were lovely and proudly keep the place in top notch condition. The secret beach was amazing. Cabins are nicely spaced apart. Recommend having a car for this location, since the walk from town is do-able yet dusty.
Liked everything. One suggestion is offer the excellent breakfast in smaller portions or a la carte.

The grounds were absolutely gorgeous. We saw a lot of wildlife. There is a path to a secret beach, which is well worth hiking. The villa we stayed in was very quaint. The owners were very welcoming and quick to resolve an issue we had with ants in the place.
There were many bugs in and around our villa. You have to be prepared to share your indoor/ outdoor living space with a few critters. The bedroom is sealed off, but the sink and shower are outside.

you sleep in little wooden huts in the middle of palm trees, forest and it’s fauna. being very close to the nature, the atmosphere is unique. Everything was very clean and comfortable und the pool area was beautiful! furthermore, the receptionist Kevin gave us great tips about the area and was open for all the questions that we had !
the wifi was not working so well and the location is a little outside of the center

This is a delightful place. Close to the town and to the beaches but removed from the bustle of central Sámara. The staff were very all helpful. Highly recommend.

This is the place you must be in Costa Rica. The perfect mix between jungle and high-level services.
You can hear the monkeys singing from your place, still you get to have a delicious "gallo pinto" for breakfast (ora whatever else you need).
Staff is super, always smiley!

spacious, lovely setting
location, 1 KM from town, too dark to walk at night. The road from the hotel to town is a rough, potholed dirt track, recommend a 4x4.

The house and the location were super! Only the road to the location was bad so you have to drive very slowly but Costa Rica is an adventure anyway.
The road.

The setting of the hotel cabanas and pool in the jungle garden was beautiful and peaceful. The pool was larger than expected, extremely clean, and a delight. The cabanas themselves were comfortable and nicely appointed with an efficiency kitchen, outdoor shower, comfortable bed, nice linens and towels, and a futon couch that can function as an extra sleeper. There was also a nice porch with tables and chairs and hammock. There is also access to a short trail to a secluded beach and viewpoints which was a bonus and worth the hike. I spied the Green Gecko eating petunias by the pool - the hotel’s namesake! The service at Reception and the breakfast were exceptional. We will consider this property on our next visit for sure. There is a bike rental a few doors down and we found this the easiest way to get from the hotel to the beach and town.
A few minor complaints were the bright white LED lights - would have liked warmer lighting and the toilet compartment was tight with a large door opening into it.

Awesome experience in this hotel!
The owner is so friendly and welcoming, the hotel is practically in the forest, very quiet and relaxing, the rooms are very clean, well organized and decorated.
We are vegans, breakfast was great! Big plate of fruits, portion of gallo pinto (rice and beans), toasts with home made jam, orange juice, coffee, tea.
Makes u want to stay more!
Nothing, great place to stay in.
A bit far from town but totally worth it, the hotel surely makes up for it.
Chapeau!

Cool little pool/lounge area. Breakfast was included and was DELICIOUS with an awesome fruit platter and homemade jams each morning. Cool little cabinas in a lush tropical setting. Great landscaping!
The room was great but just a bit small for my friend and I. Beds were comfy enough, just not anything special. Hot water was hit or miss but that isn't anything new down in a lot of areas in CR. We would stay here again!

private, quaint, wonderful breakfast
the location is definately away from the hub of activity but that could definately be a positive, was a little hard to find

The grounds are peaceful, gorgeous and safe! Each cabana is separate from each other. In addition, it is walking distance to the main center of Sámara which is ideal for a quiet, relaxing vacation.
