Auch im Resort gibt es teilweise freilaufende Hunde, da es ein offenes Areal ist. Für jemanden, der Hunden nicht gerne begegnet, ist das wie überall auf Bali immer wieder mal unangenehm. Wir haben uns auch für kurze Distanzen shutteln lassen. Einmal gab es eine 2 Stunden andauernde Lärmbelästigung ab 7 Uhr morgens mit lauter von Bässen durchdrungener Musik. An Schlafen war nicht mehr zu denken. Der gesamte Hang war davon beschallt und es dauerte lange, bis die Lärmquelle lokalisiert war und endlich Ruhe einkehrte.

We really enjoyed the eco-village concept and the peaceful atmosphere of the resort. The Suma restaurant was excellent, with high quality food and great service. The spa was very good, and the addition of two saunas and an ice bath is a fantastic touch. The two swimming pools are large, exactly as shown in the photos, and never felt crowded. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the villas were spacious and well equipped, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality offered. Overall, it is a place where you instantly feel relaxed and at home.

Not much to complain about. The resort is located in the middle of nature, which is part of its charm, but guests who are sensitive to insects should bring mosquito repellent. Light sleepers may also appreciate earplugs, as nature comes with its own soundtrack.

Location, beautiful views and remote, quiet

Windows not sealed, ants crawling into lounge and bedroom every evening. Roof leaks during rainy conditions. Everything is charged for. Bag of ice for fridge, even when no ice trays are supplied to make one own ice. Tomato sauce is charged for for chips, everything is extra. Makes the experience ridiculous. I travel across Bali a lot and have not paid for tomato sauce or ice at all other places.

There was not much we liked about the property. Ours was Anak Arun. The concrete walls that were not even polished concrete made us feel like we were sleeping in someone’s garage. Bare minimum furniture. No comforts. The resort is very spread out but the restaurants were excellent. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. They added us to a WA group where we could book things and make enquiries. The spa was fabulous and great value for money.

It was too spread out and although there was a shuttle available it took too long to get anywhere. No shade in the main pool in the afternoon when we went for a swim so we couldn’t stay to relax. Gym was a good 15 mins walk and only free weights available and one fan, no AC. Paddle courts were a 10 minute drive away. We did not think our accommodation was good value for money. I expected a lot more for what we paid and although fresh towels and cleaning was all available at no extra charge you had to ask for it. The steps down to our accommodation need maintainance and when it rained we walked through mucky puddles on the steps. The outside of the villa is not paved, just soil with no mat inside the door to wipe feet. Lots of leaves and the area not swept.
