Perfect for our family of 4 - quiet setting with all the modern conveniences we could have hoped for (dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, microwave, oven & hob, bbq, pool, hot tub, enormous garden), within easy driving distance of lovely restaurants and shops, well situated within the Loire Valley and all its sites.
Nothing!

Lovely place to stay in Amboise. Great property and gardens.
Quite a lot of restrictions in place to use the pool and hot tub.

It was a warm welcome from Helene and we were shown to our well appointed and pretty room. It was super hot outside after a long day's drive from the UK so the aircon unit was much appreciated! Nice touch to have plug in mosquito repellent gadgets and a small fridge too. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower unit and comfy beds (us plus our son). Very nice breakfast (including home made yoghurts) served in the garden by the pool in the morning. We could have swum and used the jacuzzi but arrived in the early evening.
The staircase to our room was quite steep so we had to take care when going up/down. Nothing major - just a small point!

The breakfast and room size were good.
I feel it could have been made clearer that if you book the apartment- you are actually in the owners house. Which means you have to walk through their living room to come in and out of your room. With three small children this was a little uncomfortable.
