The view of the old town.

The apartment was old and did not look anything like the pictures on the website.

The location was fabulous overlooking the old town, with a large balcony to enjoy it from early morning to late evening. The apartment was very clean. The rooms were all spacious and light. Milly and her son were very helpful indeed. Her son drove us to and from the airport and sorted out our luggage for us. Milly could not have been more helpful or friendly in any way, thank you so much

Spectacular view

Facilities are old and not well maintained, the washing machine is broken and didn’t work, the towel racks are broken, the bathroom door is broken, the shower is terrible, the boiler takes around one hour to heat the water up, no instructions to turn on the hot water, the bathroom smelled like sewer. The bed sheets were old and stained. Probably not the host’s fault, but we ran out of water the first day without notice (there was construction work on the street) It could be an incredible apartment with good maintenance and a new bathroom.

Owner was very helpful. Apartment was clean and comfortable, but there are stairs into the apartment with no handrails and MANY stairs down to Old Town-like a couple of hundred.

The view of the terasse was amazing. The flat is located at walking distance from the old town.

The fridge in my room was incredibly loud so I wasn't able to sleep. The place needs a bit of maintenance to keep it looking fresh.

The view from the roof terrace was spectacular, the area was quiet. Bit of outdoor space for drying costumes etc. Owner very accommodating as she helped book our taxi to bus station.

Although we had a good view the steps to the property were numerous and challenging had we researched that properly we would probably have booked somewhere nearer the old town.

The view is wonderful. Other things were OK, because i excepted them.

There was no Jacuzzi as i saw in the photo during reservation and cleanliness was not ok

The view from the apartment is absolutely stunning, just like the picture. Millie our host was extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. If ever I decide to go back to Dubrovnik, I will definitely stay here again.

The roof terrace was nice, although I think there’s a wasps nest around somewhere as there was wasps everywhere so only went up there once. The set up of the apartment was nice and and the location was perfect for us. There are lots of steps but there is a way you can walk to and from, which is sloped rather than steps back up, which also passes a cheap bar called Bikers Cafe which is handy! The apartment is a good size and does have everything you need for a cheap base, and we really liked the location.

The ants, the noise from the builders next door in the early morning, the noise from a child running passed the rooms and shouting, the leak in the bathroom, the rotten sealant, there was a cockroach in the bath one night. There isn’t a shower stand either so you just have to hold the shower which is annoying when trying to wash your hair. The noisy fridge which we actually switched off at night. There is no curtain on the door either which allows a lot of light in. There seems to be lots of little things that can easily be rectified with a little TLC.

Location of the apartment was great with easy access to the Stari Grad (about 200 + stairs). Very large balcony and beds were comfortable. Apartment was spacious and the kitchen was large too.

The photos were a bit misleading with the great balcony view we had expected not being attached to the apartment. One had to walk up quite a number of stairs and go outside to that view. We thought we had unfettered views of the old city however we looked onto the roof of the adjoining building. There were two bathrooms however they were not en suites (our mistake). Air-conditioning in living area only and not bedrooms (again my mistake when booking - should have checked this further). The shower head in one bathroom had no wall attachment so was difficult to use. The kitchen needs to be better maintained: no door shelves in fridge; no grill filter in extraction fan over the cook top. No oil/condiments offered in the kitchen nor washing powder to use in the washing machine. The owner of the apartment lives next door and has an adjoining balcony. She is a lovely lady however is a smoker (we are not) and the smoke from the cigarettes wafted onto our outdoor area and made us feel unwell, particularly first thing in the morning and whilst we were having our dinner.

The location of Isabora was good. It was close by the city. We needed to do a lot of stairs but because of that we had a nice view at the common terrace. Dubrovnik is a lovely city with a little beach, a mountain with a nice hike, good restaurants,…

Some things in the room are a little bit old. The airco and the fridge for exemple, make a lot of noise. There are no hooks in the badroom for your towels and the bed was not very well. We went to Dubrovnik by car. We were able to park closeby the apartment, but we were lucky. There isn’t much space.

Lovely owner, view was amazing and the apartment had everything we needed and was well cleaned, even had possibilities to wash clothes.

a love/hate relationship to the hundreds of steps you have to walk to get up there from old town. a bit of a workout and you get pretty sweaty in 30+ degrees, but totally worth it for the view!

The view was amazing! We loved looking down on the old city. We also appreciated the option of using the higher deck to see the old city and vista. We will definitely come back to stay here on our next visit to Dubrovnik.
