Secret Garden Iguazu

Little oasis a short walk away from the main strip. Genuinely a jungle garden, looked after by Soledad. Lovely veranda for delicious breakfast and complimentary cocktails. Aircon kept the room cool. Helpful hosts assisted with a driver for the falls.

The garden meant quite a few insects, so sitting out needed a fan, and the mosquito net was useful. Not enough sockets in useful places in the room.

The rooms are very lovingly and tastefully furnished. My questions and breakfast requests were always taken care of. I felt very much at home.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestead in Iguazu. It’s not a luxury property but that’s what makes it so special comfortable , welcoming full of authentic character. If you’re looking for a polished sterile hotel experience this isn’t the place for you. But if you want something real warm and personal it is perfect! The host was absolutely fantastic making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and hospitality really made the experience. And the breakfast honestly the best we have had during our 3 week tour of Argentina! Fresh generous and made with care we looked forward to it every morning. All in all we would definitely return again.

The lady looking after us was lovely and could not have been nicer, good breakfast.

It smelt of damp , the lady did kindly put in a dehumidifier which did help but it still smelt musty and the bed was very old and pillows were not comfortable
