I agree this place looks nice but my partner and I even couldn't sleep here. This place isn't yet ready to host people.

We made our booking online and we found the room wasn't ready. There was no reception so we had to ask around for someone to help us.

Quit location, clean, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff (esp Sharon) who tries very much to overcome the limitations of the facility.

The picture on booking.com is old - since it was taken several basic buildings were added which make the place look much less charming. In fact it is not a hotel but a social innovation project (which seems dormant today) that rents out very basic accommodation that normally host course participants. There is no restaurant or bar, no warm water, and - we had no electricity - no contingency planning for power cuts. We were given food from communal kitchen and water, and did not go hungry, and were served a somewhat improvised breakfast for which we had to wait until 8:30.

Great social organisation, supported by holiday homes. Marvelous views.

No running water anywhere

I really enjoyed my stay at SINA village. The lovely scenery makes me feel relaxed and enjoying my stay to the fullest. The location just outside Kampala is perfect, as it's very quiet but not too far from the capital city. The hut I stayed in had a basic equipment, but with everything needed. Also the Corona meassurements were all handeled very well. I was told, that SINA village now has a new management. The lady was very kind and helped me whenever I needed it. Also they utilized the time during the lockdown to start renovating the huts, to make them more modern and comfortable.

The ambience was amazing. The rooms are basic but very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. With your stay you are supporting the Innovation Academy.
