Aspira D'Andora Sukhumvit 16 - Asoke

This is a quiet boutique hotel and longer stay building hidden in Asoke down a street. It's well run, the staff are excellent, especially the night desk, and they are helpful. The hotel is good for families and people who want just a place to stay. It's near the red light district but the hotel has strict policies about it, outside guests have to sign in, and they are clear it's not a party hotel. I really enjoy staying here. It's my go to in Bangkok, and they always recall me when I come back for work or transit. Generally excellent, thank you for the complementary upgrade on my last visit - I have stayed in both standard and enhanced rooms and both were excellent.

Nothing, it's great, but given the location being close to Asoke and thus the red light area, I will clarify that if you are seeking a fun party hotel because you are close to Soi Cowboy, this wouldn't be the place for you. . In this hotel I have seen mostly families with young family staying, and so you should look further north of this location if you want a no questions asked hotel.

Individually decorated rooms comfy bed - bathroom lighting a little dark

Good location, staff available around the clock, very comfortable beds and linens.

Only given one room key per room, told had to pay for a 2nd key. Communal areas are looking quite tired and could do with a refresh.

Basic hotel at a great location with very comfortable and soft beds, which is rare in Thailand ;) The airconditioning does not make a lot of noise which is a plus for me! bathroom was clean which a very good shower with high pressure. But most of all the location: a 15min walk to the nearest BTS and M station, a 7/11 across the street. what more do you want…?

I think the cleaning could have been done a bit better. Also a few lights in the room weren’t working but overall no complaints for a basic good room!
