This properly is beautiful and has everything you could possibly ask for. It was absolutely spotless and Brenda is wonderful to work with. We spent a lot of time in Lamar Valley and the north and northeast side of Yellowstone and this is a great place to stay. The cabin will easily and comfortably accommodate six people. It was great to be unplugged and enjoy nature. Brenda has a lot of information available about the area and you should review it. It has good recommendations from recreational to safety tips. Do not hesitate to rent the cabin. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for everything Brenda. We loved our stay.

What a fun and beautiful cabin! We really enjoyed our stay in silvergate. The cabin was a little bit difficult to find initially with our maps but Brenda provided great directions on the site and we were able to get corrected quickly. The cabin was perfect for our family. We had fun playing cards and games in our downtime (we brought our own) and loved exploring the park during the day. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and we loved the stuffed buffaloes Brenda left us as a gift.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. We spent our days in Lamar Valley watching wolves and grizzlies and it was so nice to come back to such comfortable beds with a fully stocked kitchen for making all our food. The check in process was easy and the host very accessible with great communication. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to the park.

After wonderful communication with Brenda, we easily found this adorable cabin. The flag outside was a huge help! We walked into a perfectly clean, comfortable little cabin with just about anything we could have needed. We brought our own groceries, but the cottage was fully stocked with what we needed to prepare our food. There are a few little restaurant's in Cooke City that we visited because we were there at the start of the college football season, and we knew there was no tv at the cabin. The MIners Saloon was a perfect place for watching our games! We made the mistake of visiting over Labor Day weekend, so we found the main road to be very loud and busy, as well as the surrounding cabins near us to be full and a little noiser than we like, b1ut we suspect this was not typical, and if you visit any time other than a holiday weekend, you'll be afforded a much more peaceful visit. That being said, we enjoyed ourselves very much. A very nice little place in a location extremely close to Yellowstone! Oh, we didn't see any wildlife at the cottage, but we got a great tip from Brenda's husband about a nice road to take right before arriving at the cabin, and sure enough, we saw a beautiful bull moose!

The night we checked in we had a fox around the cabin. Woke up to prestine mountain views. Totally off the grid yet we absorbed God's handiwork.
Lovely place that has all the things we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is nice, all rooms and bathrooms are in good condition, and the property manager was very helpful. The property descriptions and pictures are very accurate. We would consider staying there again if in the area.

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Brenda was great with communicating with us before we got there and after we arrived! It is a beautiful hand crafted wood cabin and the inside is just as pretty as the outside. It is right on the main road between Silver Gate and Cooke city but set back in the trees. It was a little hard to find it when we came in after dark when first arriving. As far as for security purposes, I would recommend there be more lighting on the outside at the front snd at the back and sides where the deck is. There is a basement with a door going outside and I would have felt more comfortable if there had been more light. If you have 4-6 people in your party, I would warn that there are only 2 Small bathrooms. The upstairs loft bedroom does not have a bathroom . This would not have worked well if I had had my daughters with us.

The cabin was perfect and had everythiny we needed for our stay. Even without a TV or wii, it was a very relaxing environment and much needed break from the busy world. The kids loved it too! And its just down the road feom the entrance into Yellowstone. Perfect location. Brenda was very helpful and was very communicative during our time setting up the trip. Thank you for letting us stay! We really enjoyed it.

Very comfortable and beautiful both the cabin and the area. Quiet and so relaxing.
Was just not aware of charges added to price of cabin until leaving. Owners responded to the few little things that needed attention immediately.
Amazing place to stay

This is a lovely cabin, in a beautiful, remote, location. Listen to your host! Brenda is very helpful and available for any questions, she has put everything in the listing. There is no internet, and very few businesses in town offer WiFi. That being said, we all agreed that the beauty of the surrounding area, and the location of this cabin is totally worth it. Even our 17 year old son was okay with disconnecting for a few days. There is a gas stove that heats the entire cabin, don’t be fooled, it gets warm & toasty quickly. We learned to turn it off and on as needed. You will need to use the electric heater (provided) in the bedroom downstairs. The cabin is only 5-6 miles from the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone, this was our favorite section of the park! It is loaded with wildlife. We enjoyed playing board games at night (I would bring a couple of your favorites). My only suggestion would be for the host to add a couple of games (we found one game). We stayed at another location in Teton Village with a game closet that included Scrabble, Life, Clue, Uno, Skipbo, Yatzee, & more, and we really enjoyed that feature. Don’t miss Cooke City & Silver Gate due to the lack of WiFi, you would really be missing out if you do. Be sure to drive the Beartooth Scenic Byway, it’s incredible! The cabin is lovely, and the host, Brenda is great! We hope to stay again in the future.

What a charming cabin! Perfect place for star gazing at night and enjoying abundant wildlife right from the back deck. Well appointed and cozy as can be! We truly enjoyed our short stay in Cooke City!

Great cabin and location for hiking in the area. Cooke City is a friendly town.

Since the access point to where we planned to go was closed, we had to drive 4 hours and back to get there. It would have been better if we could have canceled, but that option was not available. It was a nice place. The front bedroom was too dark so we slept upstairs. Everything thing else was fine.

Cabin was great, close to the NE entrance (we couldn’t access Yellowstone this time due to the flooding) but when that entrance is open the location is perfect. Really close to the amazing scenic Beartooth Highway - incredible views.

There is still plenty to do in the communities around Yellowstone after the flooding! The location between Silver Gate and Cooke City was perfect for hiking or going 4-wheeling in the larger area, including the Beartooth Mountains. The cabin was nice, small but laid out well for 6 people. There are 3 separate sleeping areas and 2 full bathrooms, plus a very nice back deck. The layout is fairly open, which is great for a fun vacation with friends and/or family, with a full kitchen and a dining table for 6+.

Great communication! Hopefully will get to stay in Future!
I provided a 5 star review but never actually got to stay at the property as our visit coincided exactly with the Cooke City /Yellowstone flooding in mid June 2021!
Brenda was great about providing information about the flooding and was transparent about the situation in Cooke City. She also worked with me on the trip insurance! Not sure I would recommend VRB0 as they were a bit confusing and a challenge, but Brenda was very honest and forthright in a tough situation where her family friends were impacted

Great cabin, even better host
The cabin more than exceeded our expectations. The owners have added a lot of little details around the house that really make it feel like home. It is very comfortable. As far as wildlife, we saw foxes and deer from the back porch and even saw a moose walking by the front door on our last day there.
I cannot say enough about how attentive Brenda was with our group. She checked in many times prior to the trip and during. After our flight was delayed significantly, we arrived later than expected and she offered for us to stay at their motel in Cody rather than make the drive to the cabin in the middle of the night. If I could give Brenda 10 stars for her service I would.

Everything about this place was so memorable!
Abundant nature and wildlife.
I’d stay again 💯 the only thing I would say is if I had little children or elderly this lovely place has 3 levels of bedrooms with steep stairs and just passing by the narrow path to get to the bathroom you could easily fall down the stairway if not paying attention or dark.
They had a baby gate so do not let my opinion keep you from this place it’s gorgeous!

This cabin is just beautiful. We had the best time staying there. It is welcoming, charming, cozy and very comfortable. We saw deer in the yard and a buffalo surprised us on the morning we were packing to leave. Was very exciting. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and spent time just enjoying the cabin. This was the perfect location for our early morning and evening wildlife viewing adventures in Lamar Valley. We saw bears, wolves and eagles. Was just fabulous. We also enjoyed Silvergate and Cooke City. We ate twice at the BearTooth Cafe and bought treasures at the Trading Post. We highly recommend this cabin for a mountain get-away. Brenda was great with communicating everything we need. Great host.

The cabin is lovely. Other cabins next door but no noise from others. Super close to Yellowstone. Enjoyed the town too! Being without cell or internet was a blessing! Some movies and a dvd player& tv night be nice. Did the puzzle ( missing 1 piece) and relaxed. 1st floor bed could stand replacement ( so my friends said). Didn’t use loft but basement was comfy!
