Very kind hosts and the location is close to some beautiful beaches. The restaurant food is really great. Stayed longer than planned.

very comfortable beds, nice balcony in front of the room to relax, delicious dinner and a very nice host who speaks a very good English. Only 5 min to walk to the best beach on Sri Lanka. the host even picked me up with his tuktuk from Tangalle bus station.

bathroom could be cleaner. but it is still absolutely okay compared to other facilities :)

We can fullheartedly recommend a stay at Ranith if you like very good food (some of the very best we had in Sri Lanka), having a host that speaks good english, will be helpful in all your endeavors around Tangalle and can provide directions to the best beach we visited during our stay in Sri Lanka. The room was spacious and clean.

Easy to find, not far from bus stop but main road is very noisy even at night (we had room with view to the road). Room had mosquito net. We had great food, very tasty and big portion. This lady knows how to cook! The owner was very talkative with really good english, gave us advice when needed.

We didn’t get towels or soap.

We highly recommend Ranith Villa, the owners were extremely hospitable and kindly helped us with our travel plans and questions about the area. Our room was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The only suggestion for improvement would be to have a water filter at the property to reduce our consumption of plastic bottles. The price of the room was extremely reasonable, if there was an option for paying more and having breakfast included this would be appealing.
