Las cabañas eran preciosas. Especialmente disfrutamos el desayuno en el que el personal, super amable, nos habló de todos sus productos locales y la forma en la que su comida se relaciona con su vida en la isla

No mini-bar! Would have been fitting for such a nice place.

Location was perfect, rooms were cosy, breakfast was delicious and the staff pride themselves on accomodating and helping you find activities to do outdoors!
Views aren’t as great as suggested on the website, but we didn’t mind cause you can see the character of the surrounding town! And one slightly grumpy staff member was an unexpected moment.

the place was extremely clean
I paid for a seaside view and I looked across the water to a cod liver oil factory.
We didn't cook, but it looked like probably no one had ever cooked as supplies were minimal.

Hattvika Lodge was a phenomenal stay. Without even knowing it was our honeymoon, we were upgraded to the best available lodge after selecting a suite for our initial accommodation. We were greeted with a warm welcome, information about the area, and history of the fishing cottage. The lodge had a great view of the mountains, water and fishing cottages. Food was easily accessible as well as scenic hikes. Perfect middle location in Lofoten for traveling around.
The lodge was incredible. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Couldn't recommend this place more! The only downside to our visit is that not many local restaurants were open (we came in the off season - end of April) so food was a challenge at times and hours were not always accurate on google. Although, this would have likely been a challenge anywhere we stayed. Plan ahead!

Clean, comfortable bed, staff at the reception (the lady who checked us in) was really nice and helpful. Our server at the restaurant was friendly and helpful. The location is nice, there is a Joker very close and a nice little cafe. They allow you to use the washer (no dryer available ). Loved the provided soap/shampoo/conditioner. Close to the airport. Ballstad has really nice trails.
This was the last place we stayed on our trip and in comparison it definitely had the least bang for your buck. It was as expensive or more than other places we stayed (4 different places during our whole stay) and there was less offered and what was offered was more expensive. It was the only one that didn’t provide coffee and/or tea (unless you stayed in a more expensive cabin). Breakfast is another addition (unless again your in a more expensive cabin) so we didn’t try it. The restaurant is on site but expensive, a nice experience but didn’t really live up to the price. They charge 500 NOK for a couple (around 50 dollars) for time in the sauna which was the highest priced one compared to the other ones we used, one with the sauna being included in its price.

they had charming, renovated historic cottages as well as newly constructed mountain lodges to choose from
the walk between cottage and main lodge in bad weather

the house was nice but unfortunately it didn't have a toaster for breakfast and not even a television, since in the winter there was nothing to do in the evening at least we could watch a film, but unfortunately not even that...

Everything! From arrival to departure, the staff were exceptional. The restaurant was outstanding, the menu and wine pairings delicious!
our house was well equipped, decorated and the view unbelievable.
The sauna was an experience in itself.
Only one observation, we were not aware hot tub access is limited.
Will be back!

The design, the space, location and the most is services. I would like to recognize Rolan who help check us in and very helpful on all our luggages. We are very appreciated that.

House was great. Living room was upstairs, rooms were spacious enough to bring our luggages in and open them comfortably. Service was great as well.
Breakfast was quite expensive for such a small spread. We had to check out early though and the cafes nearby only opened at 11am

It was a nice lodge concept and the room was nice.
The room was super hot and there wasn't even a fan during the heatwave. The owner was very rude in communication with me and they didn't provide any vegan options for any meals which I find disappointing considering it is not that hard to cater for dietary requirements.

We loved the view from our room. Our room was situated right at the end and we had two windows that overlooked the port and mountains. The bathroom also did not disappoint - with two full shower heads, it provides a lot of convenience. Everything was sparkling clean in the room and the kitchen was well stocked with the basic necessities. Kristian, the owner, was very hospitable and even greeted us and took us to our room the first day. The restaurant at the lodge is absolutely fantastic, you must eat here when staying here and definitely try the shrimp!
The price was a little on the higher end side. Although we felt like it was a little expensive, our whole experience at Hattvika Lodge was definitely worth the price. Besides that, everything else was great!
