Breakfast was very good . And staff attentive

There was no shaver point in the room /bathroom and toilet seat a bit wobbly.

We had the most amazing stay at The Kings Head in Beverley. We brought close family with us to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary with a celebration meal in their private dining space and all of us staying over in their gorgeous rooms. The team could not have done more for us. We had a very warm welcome from Lucy from the moment we arrived, and Emma was brilliantly attentive to all our needs both in the planning stages and on the day. A huge thank you to Emma in particular for her care, kindness and professionalism in making our celebration so special. Everyone had a wonderful time and the food was amazing!

There was nothing we did not like about the property.

Staff were very friendly. Excellent location. Nice room. Nice restaurant. Late checkout good.

There was building work in the building next door, with drilling right against our bedroom wall. This went on until after 6pm. It wasn’t possible to talk over the noise. The hotel said they had no control over this. There was a small hotel carpark round the back but parking was very tight there.

The room itself is lovely, very spacious and huge bed with very nice bath tub and amenities. Information mentions coffee machine however there was only a kettle, but not the end of the world!

Don't go in the restaurant here!! Service was appalling slow and food was reheated and unpleasant. Whetherpoons level quality (which would be fine if it came in 5 minutes) however it took 50 minutes to receive our meal. To top it off got food poisoning from the fish (with prawns) so spent the night being very ill. Find somewhere else to eat the 20% discount is NOT worth it!
