I loved the friendly and homely atmosphere! Walking distance to dotonburi without being right in the chaotic city centre. The staff is super friendly and awesome! The bunk bed itself was great too - spacious and love the shelves and reading light.
Rooms weren't really soundproof but thats ok. There's no showers on the upper level but didnt run into issue waiting for a shower.

The atmosphere was really social, which I loved. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations. At the entrance there are QR codes you can scan for lists of places to eat. They also hosted a social event, and it was great to talk to the other guests. Everything was clean, including the showers. I really enjoyed my stay!

Extremely friendly staff (especially Sho who you should definitely chat to if you have time), free breakfast (toast with several spreads), free tea (barley and green), fairly spacious beds, great facilities (though with quite a lot of people using them you may have to deal with some dirtiness), fairly convenient location (10-15 minute walk from Dotonbori).
Hostels are not for me but I value just how good this one was. If I had to nitpick, it could get a bit noisy when trying to sleep with ventilation or cooling or something. They offer free earplugs to help deal with it and the noise of all the other guests.

Dryer didn’t work everyone was stuck with wet clothes at 12 am in the morning. Rooms are too dim and too small for the price.
