We stayed in this hotel two years ago in 2017. We felt in love with this magic country and decided in favor of Dammika Magic Palace hotel for New Year celebration. Lovely place surrounded by natural jungles. Very quiet and comfortable hotel. You can enjoy spectacular pictures of birds landing for night on the tops of the trees before sunset from the second floor terrace, on the wide Wadduwa beach you can walk or swim in the ocean, on the beach you can learn how local fishermen catch fish. Host Dammika is super host, he is friendly, attentive, making your stay in the hotel like at home of your friends. In the hotel restaurant you can enjoy local food cooked with love. Dammika Magic Palace hotel dedicated for those who wants to deep into nature, like comfort, quietness and piece.

I would suggest to improve spa facilities

A really nice place away from the city. It is an ideal place to just chill with friends over a booze. The open area first floor is perfect for chilling out over some drinks. The rooms were really spacious and comfortable. Overall the entire place was super clean.

Breakfast could have been improved. Also the location is not ideal for those who wish to explore the area since it's away from the beach! But lovely place !
