Chambres Rue de la République

I had a very pleasant stay at Annexe des Templiers and was very happy with the accommodation overall. The room was clean, tidy and modern, with a very comfortable bed and air conditioning. The highlight for me was the lovely little terrace, with a gorgeous view of the beautiful surrounding houses and mountains in the distance. It was such a lovely place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere of Collioure. The location is excellent. There is a lovely supermarket, restaurants and shops within around a 10-minute walk, and the beach, castle and train station are also easily accessible on foot. The bathroom initially looked like it had a very small bath, but I soon realised that part of the bath was hidden behind the wall, so it was actually a perfectly normal-sized bathtub. The room amenities were quite minimal; essentially liquid soap by the sink and bath, but this wasn’t an issue for me as I usually bring my own toiletries. I also liked the little bookshelves in the corridors where guests can leave and share books. The price was reasonable considering the location, and overall I was very happy with my stay.

The key collection is from another hotel about a five-minute walk away. The lady at reception did not speak English, so we communicated using gestures and the little French I know. She tried her best and was helpful. Unfortunately, when I first arrived at the property, I discovered that my key card wasn’t working. I returned to the reception hotel to explain the problem, and the lady kindly came back with me. When we returned, there was another guest experiencing the same issue with her key card at the entrance. Fortunately, my key card worked when I tried it again, so the issue was resolved. There is no lift in the building, so this may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties or anyone travelling with very large/heavy luggage. Overall, these were minor inconveniences and did not detract from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay. I would happily stay here again.

Very central location in one of the most gorgeous towns in the south of France. Comfortable room.

Would be much better with just a small kettle and bar fridge.

Such a good location. Pretty little deck I could use. Roomy bathroom. Easy key pick up. Supermarket right downstairs.

Very noisy location if the doors are open at night. Didn't see the remote for the air con. Towels a little on the thin side.

The room was beautiful, with a nice bathroom and balcony.

The problem was a delivery at 5:30 in the morning just underneath my balcony. The noise was terrible as workers were dragging heavy pallets of drinks on the ground. I asked them to be more quiet, and they did try, but the noise continued for at least another hour. It was rather unfortunate at such an early hour of the morning and made the experience in the room less pleasant. And I was tired the rest of the day because of the lack of sleep.
