The owner of this awesome vacation rental clearly goes out of their way to anticipate their guests needs and accommodate them. Drawers and cabinets are clearly labeled making it easy to find items needed with owner going above and beyond the basics on items provided saving us a lot of $ vs. having to purchase/replenish staple items!
Super convenient to Yosemite just a couple miles away. Internet worked great! Really good sized spaces (hot tub, deck, kitchen, living room, bedrooms, 3! baths, Washer/Dryer, etc.). We loved grilling on the deck (quiet and private) and dining at the large oval kitchen table as an extended family. Master suite location gives oversized additional room and privacy. All beds comfortable.
Excellent communication before, during and after the rental. Well taken care of home - all 6 in our group loved this rental from the teenage son to grandma. We would rent again in a heartbeat.

We just returned from a 3-night stay at the Tree Top Cabin. The house is very nice and spacious. The main bedroom is quite big and is on one side of the house while the other 2 BRs are on the opposite end which provides a lot of privacy. There are 3 full baths with 2 on the main floor and one at the garage level. The kitchen has all needed appliances and utensils if one chooses to cook. There's a washer/dryer on the main floor which makes it convenient as one doesn't need to lug the laundry up and down the stairs. The firepit outside is really nice and we used it on 2 of the 3 nights.
The VRBO check-in instructions weren't up-to-date and we weren't able to open the garage door as instructed. However, we called Cheryl the property manager and she was able to provide the correct code so we could get in. The property is easily accessible off Rte 41 and is in a very quiet location. Mariposa Grove is only 4.9 miles away and Bass Lake/Oakhurst are very easily accessible as well.
Everything was very clean and all the appliances worked well. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again when we're in the area.

Private, yet close to Park entry gate. House has two bedrooms at one end and one bedroom at the other. Perfect for our needs.

Really enjoyed this mountain house. Great location. Well-appointed. Beds were super comfortable. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck in nature. Hot tub was very clean and easy to use. Would return!

We flew into Fresno Airport which is about 11/2 hour from the Tree Top Cabin.
Lunch was at Delicious in Oakhurst. We stopped at Raleys Grocery for food for the week. Nice store, full service with deli.
The house is 2miles from the South Entrance of Yosemite National Park. Keep in mind, you are still good hour from Yosemite Village once you enter.
Construction is underway inside the park so be patient and plan accordingly.
The house is spacious. Kitchen fully stocked (electric stove). The grill worked perfectly with a spare propane tank.
There are plenty of books on Yosemite.
Uno, cards, board games! The record player was fun to play.
The temps over 100 degrees during the day so we could not take advantage of fire pit or hot tub.
Having the washer and dryer was such a convenience.
There is a trailhead right past the driveway. We hiked about 4 miles, round trip.
Tips: Use mosquito spray, Get to the park early. We would leave the house by 6am The mornings heat up quickly and the breeze disappears. Parking limited because of construction.

Fantastic cabin, loved multiple sitting areas, artwork, plush towels, stocked with coffee!, light switches labeled as well as kitchen cabinets and drawers. Plenty of non electronic games/cards/puzzles. Great time and only 2 miles to Yosemite entrance. Shallow footprint but very private.

Overall the house was fine and served it’s purpose for our stay. It’s close to the south entrance of Yosemite so only 10-15 minutes to Mariposa Grove and the Wawona hotel. The property was clean and the communication with the property manager was great. Check in and out was easy. Having a hot tub was nice as well. The biggest negatives are that the house looks better in the pictures than it is. For the price, it is dated and could use updating throughout. The freezer dumped water on the floor every time you opened it. There is only one TV in the house, none in the bedrooms. There are no ceiling fans in the rooms, but there are a number of box/stand fans in the closets to use. The Internet speed is good, but the WiFi coverage in the house isn't the best.

Had a wonderful time at this nice home. Close to South Entrance of Yosemite, house was very comfortable, and very well stocked with everything you would need to cook. Few issues, but Cheryl responded quickly and resolved the issues. Highly recommend if visiting Yosemite. If you are going to Yosemite make sure you leave no later than 7 to7:30am for the park. Lines get very long just to get into park. But worth wait.

Had a wonderful time, plenty of room for the whole family. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The only thing is the kitchen roof did leak a little. The deck has a lot of pine needles. Hot tub was fun and the fire pit was nice on the cool nights. We had a great time and would recommend and also would come back.

Really enjoyed our retreat in this wonderful house. Large enough for all of is in a cozy little town of Fish Camp. Easy access to Yosemite and the small town of Oakhurst where you can get anything and everything!

We had a wonderful time getting to see the beautiful sites of Yosemite and Sequoia National Forest. The house was clean and comfortable. It’s just minutes from the park entrance and not to far from Oakhurst which has everything you need for groceries or eating out. Lovely Well Stocked home at Yosemite’s footsteps
We stayed here over Father’s Day weekend. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and the home was big enough and super comfortable. The hosts have done a great job to make everything so easy - such a delight. The home has some nice touches with a hot tub, fire pit, dart board, puzzles and even a vinyl player. Will rent again if we ever visit Yosemite. Highly recommended

What a great place! We enjoyed our stay. Location was quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed dinner at the Narrow Gauge Inn in Fish Camp one night. Hot tub was perfect after all day in Yosemite. We especially appreciated the labels on all the kitchen cupboards and lights, saved a lot of rummaging around for utensils and guessing which switch worked which light.

We came with our 18 month old granddaughter, and greatly appreciated the gate at the top of the stairs. And we all loved the hot tub! Btw...the master suite is wonderfully private and quiet, just in case grandma/grandpa would like to sleep in a little.

This is a beautiful property in a fantastic spot near Yosemite NP South entrance. If you are visiting in late spring, this is where you want to be because you still have options should a snow squall pop up, like one did for us.
The house has a great cabin feel inside, and also has a driveway for private parking. The beds were comfortable and everything was well provided (linens, towels, d/w soap). Additionally, the owner and property manager have left excellent, easy to follow instructions on how to maintain and use features of the property (eg access, fireplace, hot tub). The open concept living area / kitchen allowed us to have friends from Fresno visit for a meal. There were also recommendations for some “must see” hikes and views which we took advantage of.
Communication with the property manager and owner was excellent; although VRBO and Expedia seem to have gotten their communication lines crossed (I looked at the property on both search engines and booked on VRBO but received messages from Expedia?)
I highly recommend this as your Yosemite home base!

The kitchen had everything we needed and the Keurig was a plus. The fireplace was our gathering spot every night. Plenty of extra wood in the garage. There was snow on the ground which made the hot tub all that more enjoyable. The hot tub is vinyl but was clean and sits under the tall pines. If you go in the winter you might ned chains to make it up the narrow road and driveway. Same as driving through the Tenaya cottages. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. Close enough to the Park for day trips.
